I guess it isn't an FA if you WILD since an FA is where you wake up unaware you are dreaming

If my WILD starts by gettin up from my bed when I notice I'm already in a dream, it's usually in my bedroom, or some other room with bed or sofa. I think it's pretty common.

If you have a regular dream about you waking up, getting up and going about your day - that's False Awakening. You either don't realize you are dreaming and kick yourself in the morning for missing an oportunity, or you do and have a LD.

So if you WILDing and enter a dream without loss of awareness, even if it starts by you geting up in your room, that's not FA.

Starting to see your room or some other room and gettin up from bed and walking away is one of the few types of entry into a WILD. More about types of entry here.

This happened in my first and only LD. I assumed it was normal for this to happen.

Starting out every LD in a replica of where I'm sleeping

Recently I seem to be starting every LD (mostly WILDs) in an almost exact replica of the room I'm actually sleeping in. It has windows, so sometimes I will climb out through one of them to find myself in a random new environment, and if I leave the room I see my house. But sometimes it's not my house when I open the door, and instead a new area I've never seen before.

Does anyone else start out their LDs in a dream version of their bedroom? Do you set up things in real life in your room that you can then expect to find in your LDs? I have a mirror in my room that I then found in an LD.

Hmm, personally i would still count this as false awakening, because it's not always possible to be 100% sure(especially considering i am one of those people who get little to no sensations when entering WILD apparently).

Offtopic: it's just me or this thread looks really messed up with post order, was there a merge or something?

Edit: Yes it's messed up, i posted reply into the past somehow.

That's false awakenings, every single one of my WILDs started like that, and yeah it's pretty exact for me at the starting point, though it changes somewhat with time if i stay in it for long.
