      I need help with awareness :(

      Alright, so I'm trying to find out how to increase my awareness. I have read the ADA technique guide. Although I haven't had my first LD yet, I want to learn to do DILDs. I have attempted to do ADA, but I can never remember to do it. After searching around a bit, I found out that meditation helps with awareness. I was wondering if this is a practical way to learn awareness, and if so then are there any special ways that I should practice it? Thanks for any replies.

      Hi there. When you do ADA, it is recommended to practice it only a few minutes at a time when you are just beginning, as it can be mentally exhausting. Then you can increase it as you see fit. I also used to forget to do awareness practices especially during hectic days. So I would put a rubber band on my wrist and whenever I noticed it, I'd do a reality check. After that, I try to be aware of my surroundings as much as possible, and take everything in.

      It is one of the best MILD techs out there.

      Also, my biggest tip for beginners is to read everything you can about LDing. Exploring the World of Lucid Dreams is a must read for all LDers. It got me to my first LD.

      Also I like DDA. It is a very fun awareness technique. Not as taxing as ADA. Check it out.
