Well, you remember your dreams with the most ease if you wake up during REM. Might have been in REM when you woke up. |

I haven't remembered any of my dreams for the past four days or so, but I slept on the living room couch because my friend passed out on my bed last night. Someone inadvertently woke me up, I fell back asleep immediately, and I vividly remembered three of my dreams. Does anyone else know about this having an effect on recall? |

It could have been a number of reasons, but like matte said it probably had to do with being woken up in REM or the fact that you were sleeping in a different place which can often keep the body at a more heightened state of awareness. I'd be willing to bet it was just once of luck. |

@Matte: I remembered the dreams which I had after the first time I woke up, so I guess I was still in REM then too |
