Thread: The Strangest Thing

Let me first start off by saying that this is only my second LD.

Anyway, the strangest thing happened to me the other night. I was attempting a VILD and sadly I fell asleep . But later in the night, I performed a DILD. Get this, the dream I became lucid in was the EXACT visualization that I was using for my VILD.

Anyone else have any weird/crazy/awesome experiences like this?

Hey congrats on the lucid! It's highly possible to have your visualizations pop up in some other dream. Just like when you daydream about something, you can't really be sure when it's gonna show up in your dream.

Anyway I tried to WILD once and visualized a specific scene. I ended up falling asleep, then I had a DEILD and the exact scene popped up

VILD is really a spin off of MILD. And yes what you think about before you fall asleep usually pops up in your dreams. Isn't that what you wanted? Sounds like a success!
