Talking Experimenting the visual part of a dream

in my last lucid dream, i focused on an object. it is a painting i think (it was blurry). suddenly, i got a zoomed in vision. its just getting bigger, ang closer, and bigger, and closer. When i snap out of it, it becomes normal again. has any of you experience this?

not just zooming in. have u try :
      • zooming out
      • change your vision upside down (only your vision)
      • change the color of a dream
      • change it to black and white
      • pixelize it.

i want to try them, i will tell the result later..

I've zoomed once or twice, haven't tried anything else though. Except enhance all the colours and make my vision really good.

I've really only used the zooming effect for advanced flying or speed running. It seems like focusing on a distant takes you there at light speed. It's really cool. I haven't tried that with a picture but I could see it being about the same thing.

The other stuff on your list sounds interesting but I haven't had a real desire to test it out.

Let me second Xanous' point that the zoom effect can be used for transportation. This is something that Robert Waggoner advised in his "Lucid Dreaming: Gateway to the Inner Self" book, and it really works great.

I have experienced a highly pixelated dream! I became lucid when my wife's Dream Character announced that I would be entering a lucid dream and that it would look super pixelated. So in a way it was her idea, not mine. The effect was very cool, though! This was the dream: The Lucidity Machine - Dream Journals - Lucid Dreaming - Dream Views

The other ideas sound like a lot of fun. I'm not sure that I'd enjoy upside-down too much, but anything's worth trying once. Good luck, and let us know how your experiments go!

I've done zooming in, it's awesome, most of the time I can't even control it, my brain just does all the work
I've never done black and white but I've tried sepia and pixelated which were awesome, but negative didn't work too well.
Then for upside-down, let me say this - it is a battle you do not want to start. You can try but as soon as you lose focus you mind will shift it right back to normal. It feels like when you try to balance something on a really thin edge and it keeps either falling forward or backwards, that is what this is like. As soon as you have your vision upside down it kind of bounces back or your body turns to suit the vision etc.

Wow, cool, I got the idea that when focusing, you are getting into something.
