Personality? Well, since personality does not tend to change from one moment to the other, but more from a lasting experience of events, it would be possible indeed to change your personality through your lucid dream adventures. For one, I've become much more calm and self-aware since I found lucid dreaming. I'm also more open-minded regarding experiences which I can't explain, like communicating with my sub-conscious through dream characters. You can't really go into a lucid dream and "turn" yourself into a zen person, or change an aspect of your personality in one night. |

Honestly, personality can be changed with a little effort and willpower on your part, in real life, outside a dream. I have done so myself. Whether or not it can happen in Lucid Dreams or not, putting in that effort, I think, in itself could help to change your personality. |

You can always go ahead and explore it yourself. We have many people around with these experiences in which they want to alter aspects of themselves, or simply discovering them. It's a really interesting journey (because sometimes you find information you really don't expect to find |

@Brandon, Hah, thanks. I lurk around, just don't post much unless I think I can actually add to the conversation (with the exception of the occasional interest in off-topic when bored). I have more than 27, yes, though probably not too much more. I know a lot about dreaming, but becoming Lucid has always been extremely difficult for me. I take what I can get. |

You definitely can change yourself, into anything you want. There's really no limits. Just picture who you want to be, imagine yourself as them. I remember as a kid I had a lucid where I would open a menu, so my vision became like a computer screen and there was a list of superheroes I could choose from. I'd pretend there was a keyboard infront of me and I'd hit enter. It'd go back to where I was and I'd be that hero. Was funny swinging around as spiderman! |

In my dreams, I am more calm and collected than in real life, the cold, taciturn gentleman I always wanted to be, not the emotional person I am. So, yes. |
