Ok so for the past week or two, i've been keeping a dream journal of all the dreams I could remember, I even drew little pictures that I remembered, hoping maybe these could be dream signs |

I'll look into MILD and DILD! And no, my two lucid dreams just happened.. But I remember during BOTH lucid dreams, I had a weird feeling in my body/mind that it wasn't reality. I've always thought WILD relatively easy because you just lay there but, i'll look into the other two. I'll also look at the intro class, I've been looking for it but couldn't find it, so thanks |

If it "just happened", it's a DILD. If you reality check to it, it's a MILD. Just clarifying. |

alright, I'll do RC's more often. But what's kinda frustrating to me is that even if the dream is completely out of this world, like it's 100% impossible I just take it in as reality.. Even before I started writing my dreams down, I could honestly say I could remember most of my dreams on the spot and tell my friend how crazy they were and explain the details, but while i'm dreaming it's just reality to me. Is this what a dream journal is for? to find dream signs that help induce lucidity? |

No. The main reason a dream can fool you is because of false dream memories. Dream memories can trick you into the craziest settings. I once believed I lived alone out in the country in a small cottage. How could I possibly believe that? The dream gives you new memories to replace yours IRL. If you remembered everything IRL, you'd be lucid all the time. |
