I couldn't possibly imagine pursuing lucid dreaming without changing my habits. What chance did I have of achieving LDs when I was still a stressed out unaware forgetful negative thinking me? And once I became more self-aware how could I help but change some of the stuff I saw and didn't like? One of the things I love about dreaming is how intricately it is connected to everything else. I can keep an aquarium without changing my life drastically, and I can crochet without too much impact, but how could I dream and pay attention to dreams and not let it affect everything - to me that's impossible, and doing it wrong frankly. |
