      Body very tense in LDs

So I got my Remee sleep mask yesterday and tried it out last night. I chained like 4-5 lucid dreams (I've only had 3 in the past few years). My problem is that I'm usually very tense in my dream and it's hard to move my body, especially my hands. How can I relax in-dream and move more fluidly?

Do you use stabilization techniques? If not, try using one next time when you get lucid: Dream Stabilization and Clarity Tutorial - Lucid Dreaming - Dream Views , Sometimes my lucid dreams also start up with 'slow' effect, but it goes away by itself after i stabilize and leave the dream version of my room.

      Hello! Congratulations for becoming lucid!
I often experience the problem when I become lucid after a FA. I think it is connected to the fact that FA occurs when the dream destabilizes and I subliminally expect a real awakening. Because I stay in the dream, FA is created, but the problem with stability hasn't solved yet. I often tried to move very hard, but it wasn't easy and I couldn't see the surrounding. According to my experience, it is best to just relax and wait while reminding you are dreaming. Sometimes it develops into a solid FA. Other times I feel strange shifts and I suddenly appear in complex places where I can enjoy my LD. Just be patient and good luck .

Hey sweetdreamer1, congrats again about the lucids! That's great that it worked well for you. As for the rigidity in moving, you can try wiggling your ties and fingers first, kind of like warm-up exercises. Then move on to other parts and limbs of your body and like, shake your body as if you were a dog trying to dry itself. Lol. I know it sounds weird but it's worked for me many times, so try it out!

You can also attach a storyline to it to make it more controllable. For example, if you can't move, imagine that you are just temporarily frozen. Then slowly imagine thawing yourself and being able to move again. Lastly, you can verbally tell your body to move. Yell and command yourself to do so. It might just work

      Cheers~

Maybe it's a dream and if I scream, it will burst at the seams.

You are stressing too much on lucid dreaming, just take a break and relax start again.
