I hate it when you have a dream and in the dream your like "If this was a dream i could control this and then your controlling it but you still don't realize its a dream?" or when you say it out loud in the dream and a DC is like "This is not a dream" and so you continue dreaming? them damn DC's

I actually find those dreams very amusing, and that sense of humor helps me overcome the tendency to hate them, at least that's the idea though not always successful.

This happened with me today, but they are still lucid dreams aren't they?
although you can't feel your body in the dream.

Actually, no, this would not be a lucid dream. If you do not realize that it is a dream, then it would not be lucid, but it would mean that you were close.

Well see I just don't realize i am moving these things until i wake up so these would not be lucid dreams. and if you get these I'm sure you could make a dream sign easily off them.

Ah, in that case, yes, that was a lucid dream.

If a DC straight up told me it wasn't a dream I would flip out. It's basically like your mind doesn't want you to be Lucid or at least let you know you're dreaming.

LOL, this has happened to me. Also...

It does not want you to be lucid. The reason? Your subconsious wants to show you something in a dream, but you become lucid and manipulate what it tries to teach you just to have fun. Itīs last resort? Lucid Nightmares and FAīs. With nightmares, it will trap you, make you lose control, and get you in a nightmare. If you somehow escape, you get a false awakening, your subconsiousīs last hope. It can also skip the nightmare part, it usually does, but for some people like me it does not. Well, to keep up with what i was saying, it copies the detail as you remember it, and makes it extremely vivid. It also takes the position you are currently on while sleeping (like, if you are sleeping on your left arm, you will "wake up" on your dream left arm in the exact place. Has happened for me), but it does not have a way to counter RCīs, except for repeating FAīs. That is my theory anyway. Heh.

Haha, thanks. We should pay attention to what our subconsious tells us anyway.

That seems to be the case most of the time, but sometimes there are those very special DCs that do want you to know you're dreaming. The few that I've come across were very helpful, if not mysterious and mischievious about it.

I like that theory. There was a couple of times I've gone lucid and just let the dream take me where it wanted to, because I figured it had something special or important to show me. Something far more enlightening than what I could have done.

      Where did it take me?

      It took me bowling.

Actually, now that you mention it, I would have lost counsciousness in my dream last night if it wasn't a DC reminding me that I was dreaming

      I was like: Holy sh*t, kangurus!? o:
And he was like: calm down bro, didn't you say you were dreaming? *stoner voice*

      Lol
That's awesome. Those DCs are so amusing sometimes. I've had a few in both cases where the DC would tell me, "It would be so cool if we're dreaming right now." and others which will look at me as if I'm stupid for mentioning that this might be a dream.

Well it happened again kinda this time it was something new a little.

I was in my dream and making sure it was a dream so i was checking to see if i could go through the glass window. I did so I knew it was a lucid dreaming so i was thinking i should try to remember this when i wake up next i know it i have woken up but still in a dream referred to as a FA (False Awakening). So i was just spending my lucid dream laying in bed recalling my previous dream (if that makes sense). Than i woke up for real looks like im going to have to implement FA every time i wake up

Yes, that's a good idea. I need to get in the habit of RC'ing as soon as I wake up.
I had a dream, then 'woke up', wrote down my dream, then woke up for real. Then I was like, "Darn it. Now I'm gong to have to write it down all over again. XP" (Plus I had to add more to include the FA. )
