Unhappy Dream recall = Zero! Please give some suggestions

      Hey there

Lately I've lost track of my lucid dreaming, so I have tot start all over again. The thing I have to get back up, is my dream recall. My recall never has been good, but I managed to LD almost every night and remembering quite a lot of it. But now my recall is absolute zero...

So the point is, this moment I'm very busy with school. I have to get up at 6 o'clock and I come home at 5 exhausted. In the morning there's no way I could write my dreams out and when I have time to write them down (after lunch) I've forgot everything...

So what do I do? Because I really miss lucid dreaming...It's so fun...

      Thanks for reading!

I also never find the time to right down all my dreams. But after I just woke up I always have this jotter beside me and I right down a few things what appears in my dreams but not the
whole plot. And during the day I right down my dreams with the help of those notes from the morning. But I also forget to do those morning notes sometimes but then during the day I just checking what i could dream about. Because in my case i often dreamt about school or friends and if I think about it I can somehow recall some of my dreams I had in the morning. But this method unfortunately doesn't work every time... Nevertheless, you should try it out! I hope I could help you

I think I know how you feel. As linh said, morning notes is a big help. I sometimes go to sleep little earlier just to do WBTB for 10 and fall asleep. This helps me to remember dreams better.

Have you read this: http://www.dreamviews.com/dream-sign...ompendium.html - it is a sticky thread in the dream recall section of the forum and includes such things as advice on mindset and mantras, in addition to dream journal, you might want to check whether any of these would work for you.

Also have you tried a voice recorder? It might be faster than writing down your dreams, plus if you attach it to yourself in some way, maybe you can go through parts of your morning routine while talking about a dream if you still recall it - multitasking.

Oh I almost forgot, even if you don't have time to write down dreams in the morning, maybe you can improve your recall in the middle of the night? Don't use an alarm clock, but set your intension to whenever you wake up a bit during the night, remember to recall a dream and write it down. We naturally wake up during the night, but usually roll over, go back to sleep and forget about it. I have at times had very good success improving dream recall for middle of the night dreams but not morning dreams.

Thanks everybody for your tips! I'll try and write some things during the night when i wake up and in the morning. And I'll practice some mantra's again. Hopefully my dream recall will get better!
