Dream control and vividness will improve with practice. Vitamin B6 also helps a lot with vividness. Maybe your awareness is not high enough and that's why you feel it like a ''fake'' lucid dream. |

So, even though I've said I had 2 Lucid Dreams, I've probably had about 7 or 8. However, when I do have them, I can't control anything (I know lucid dreaming isn't necessarily dream control) and DCs are very un-cooperative. They don't answer my questions properly. However, I'm still unsure if I've had a "true" Lucid dream... |

I like destruction and reality, and one invariably leads to the other.

Odd...my dream characters usually just do my bidding. I made one have sex with me while enjoying it (randomly picked off the street based on attractiveness), and I made another serve me cake and pastries. Hopefully, that luck holds up in future lucid dreams. |

My DCs are like real people... they can be fun and lovely, but they can also be annoying bitches. |

Time and practice. by the way, you can improve your skills while awake, by learning any mental discipline and improving visualization skills. Eventually you may even feel you have too much control and will need to try to allow random stuff to happen, as in DCs that are total puppets are not too interesting. Just stick with it and see what your 30th or 40th LD brings. |

I know how you feel, in my lucids my DCs are violent for no reason. They always just appear out of nowhere and start an argument, fistfight, or gunfight with me... It's a recurring problem that I've found somewhat effective ways to deal with. |

The fact that you would ask "Is this it?" means you obviously did not have very vivid lucid dreams. In the 10 or so dreams I've gained lucidity in, only one contained good control and vividness. That one was an extremely amazing experience, even though it was short, and up until then I had not had any "good" lucids. Before that I did not understand what having a "good" lucid dream is like, nor did I understand the potential lucid dreams have. You will eventually have one, and it will be fantastic. Anyways, I hope you have a vivid LD soon and then you will realize how awesome lucid dreams can be. |
