Thread: I need a little advice

For the past 2 nights I attempted a WILD they were unsuccessful. I've had 2 WILDs before. One was 2 mornings ago an hour after I woke up and it was awesome. So I'm not new to lucid dreaming but I just recently began trying every night.

2 nights ago when I attempted one I got Into REM sleep and my muscles were twitching and stuff but no hypnagogic images like before. And I tried to visualize and go into my dream but I couldn't get into it. I don't know why. But last night I got a little further into The WILD and I was seeing vivid hypnagogic images. I could tell one was a face. As I focused on them for a few minutes my heart beat got faster and my breathing slowed down a lot and I could feel it in my body that I was going lucid. It was like euphoria and I tryed to keep myself from getting excited. I still couldn't go into the dream though. Eventually I didn't feel lucid anymorebut I was still in REM sleep and I just saw black until I forced myself to wake up.

Any advice?

Just because you can't see doesn't mean your WILD was unsuccessful. Try something impossible, like doing a kickflip out of bed, for example. You'd be surprised that you're probably already dreaming.
