For the past few weeks, and years before that, most of the LDs I'd have, I wouldn't be able to speak. Either I'd open my mouth, and nothing would come out, or I'd say what sounded like a word, and everything ele after that would be a garbled mess. |

I've had this problem many times before. The way I've gotten around it is to keep my mouth closed and simply think it. Hear your own voice in your head, and assume (since in a dream, anything is possible) that everyone around you can hear you as well. You don't have to open your mouth and speak outloud, just think it and sound it out in your head and pretend whoever you're talking to (if anyone) can hear. |

What helped me, is to practice talking during day. Say what? Yup, stand up in your room, pretend you just got lucid and start talking out loud. You can pretend you talk to DCs, or you summoning something, or yelling commands to get more clarity, or just about anything your think you would do in your lucid. It works. |
