Some of my old threads about lucid dreaming are wrong

      Hello guys,

a month ago i realised something.

Many threads I used to make were not entirely true.

In strange lucid dreaming experience (link below) I was daydreaming so it was my mistake.

      Also,

      http://www.dreamviews.com/general-lu...nge-stuff.html
      http://www.dreamviews.com/dream-cont...e-problem.html

All these threads talk about stuff im having when DAYdreaming and not Lucid dreaming.

Im really embarassed right now cause i made a mistake and thought that i was doing WILD while it was daydreaming.
While losing sense of reality the first month wasn't though

The rest of my threads are fine.

IM REALLY sorry for this, i just wanted to let you know before someone sees my previous threads and gets confused.

(when referring to old lucid dreams or lucid dreaming for many years every night that IS true.)

Could you please reply saying if this has ever happened to you? I feel bad..

      Oh man, don't feel bad.

As we learn, we evolve. Our ideas and convictions may change with time, depending on what new thing we learn.

Just take role of Sleep paralysis in lucid dreaming. All sensations before sleep were used to be called SP. Now we know, that is not true. Also, the "don't move or swallow" rule when WILDing is no longer true. Why? Because we learn and evolve.

The only important thing is for each of us to realize that things change. No shame in learning and realizing that. Happy dreams

I used to wake up in mornings, then lie down and close my eyes for 20 or 30 minutes, and have awareness of my body while dreaming. I would have these long intense kind of light sleep dreams, then I realized I was not dreaming, because I was not fully asleep. What I was doing was actually remembering my dreams from a Deep Dream state from a few hours prior because I was in a meditative state.
We have four basic brainwave frequencies. My hypothesis is that it takes going into an Alpha state (meditative/trance/half-asleep) state to remember our Delta (deep non-REM sleep) dreams, because Alpha is closer to Delta than Beta (full wakefulness.)
No need to feel guilty/bad/embarrassed. No one is accusing you of lying! LOL.

I can barely remember some of the threads I made when I had just joined DV, I've not only changed my view on lucid dreaming, I've actually become a whole different person hahaha, changes in perception are only natural OP
