      Very little control

I'll qualify this by saying that I'm very new to LDing and only had a hand full of episodes. Last night I had my greatest success (being able to get lucidity several times in succession) but I was unable to exercise any strong control of my surroundings. So far I've only had some self awareness and the ability to examine my surrounding as experience how real they can feel when in a dream state. I've also had the ability to impose a small amount of control over what is currently part of my surroundings but never been able to add to my surroundings or 'teleport' to any location of my choice. What would be a good set of things to try out in order to slowly extend my abilities?

First, stabilize. You should realize that the dream is your creation(self-awareness). Try not to feel how real the environment is because it might hinder self-awareness. In my last Ld, I used the door trick to teleport. You look at a door, say it leads to X, then open it and expect to see X. When you open the door, you will see the place you want to be in. Or, close your eyes and imagine the place. When you open them, you will see the place. Tell us what happens next time you try it
      Good Luck!!
I fill my heart with fire, with passion, passion for what makes me nostalgic. A unique perspective fuels my fire, makes me discover new passions, more nostalgia. I love it.
