Yes, I do think it was advantagous to have some experience in the past. But I don't know if it matters that you were a kid, simply having done something in the past makes you experienced and makes it easy to start again. |

I was thinking about lucid dreaming today when all of a sudden I remembered that as a kid, I taught myself to recognize a recurring dream and I would wake myself up from it. I don't remember exactly how I woke myself up, it was either shutting my eyes or blinking a lot, but that is irrelevant. I also remember a few times when I would have recurring dreams of falling, and I was able to wake myself up then as well. At the time I never thought anything of it, so I forgot about it. Could this be a possible advantage to me now days when learning to develop my LDing ability? I had my first LD after only 3 days of trying when I first got started. |

The more LDs you have the greater your odds of having more. So, the earlier you start the more you have the more you will have. |

Total LDs (some very brief) = 2004: 4 * 2005: 18 * 2006: 16 * 2007: 2 * 2008: 0 * 2009: 0 * 2010: 1 * 2011: 12 * 2012: 3 * 2013: 1 * 2014: 6 * 2015: 1 * 2016: 0 * 2017: 18 * 2018: 3 * 2019: 0 (so far)
Dreaming permits each and every one of us to be quietly and safely insane every night of our lives. ~William Dement
