Why am I having so many lucids?

I have no idea why this is happening. The past two nights now I've remembered a total of 4 lucids, although I know yesterday I had 4, I just couldn't remember 2.
This just happened out of the blue and inspired me to join DV again.
I haven't had a lucid in a month or so, so it's completely random.
Nothing different is going on in my life.

Everyday i remember at least 1 dream (lucid or non-lucid). Last year, in about 3 weeks i had no recollection of any kind of dream. It was like i never dreamt during those days. Then, all of sudden, i had 14 lucid dreams in 12 days. Never happened to me before.
So i guess that, as you said, it's random.

This got me thinking: if one believed in lucid dream fairies, would their expectancy for the lucid dream fairies to bring them lucids literally result in them getting more lucids?

I think this could be a new induction method...

To OP: Like dry spells happen, so do wet spells (or, whatever), which can be caused by a lot of things or maybe even nothing at all and are completely random. Or maybe you're just suddenly a master at lucid dreaming. Go with the latter, confidence is important.
