Hey abcde, I've seen some of your posts around.
It sounds like you're a natural lucid dreamer - most people aren't so lucky! I bet if you ask your friends, you'll find that the vast majority have rarely (if ever) been aware that they were dreaming while the dream was actually happening.
Most people don't have an innate ability to recognise the dream state, so it takes a lot of time and practice to develop this skill.

Perhaps you can think of it like this:
If you grow up in a bilingual household, you won't have to pay any thought to remembering a second language, because you've always known it.
Whereas for most people, it takes years to learn a new language, and constant practice is required to make sure you remain fluent.

Even natural lucid dreamers can benefit from tutorials, though!
For example, you might like to explore dream control and stabilisation techniques, so you can challenge yourself to do more within your dreams.
And since you have regular lucid dreams, you might be interested in DV's Task of the Month, where new dream goals are assigned every month.
There are other naturals on DV who still enjoy being a part of the community, but most people do benefit from following tutorials to help them induce lucid dreams.

Its all new to this lucid dreaming thing i actually thought i was the only one , trust me when i say its been really confusing yet strangely easy to understand, it seems to make you feel a bit older than normal people, basically due to the overload of a higher knowledge of knowing a dream, you sound like you know me better than i know myself ,having the ability to be a natural lucid dreamer, honestly , i don't know shit about it, but what i do know is the crazy fact i know its a dream, how it happens i have no idea. I like to hear some more info about naturals, to see if they have had the same experience...thanks Hun your like a breath of fresh air.

To me RCs are only used as an affirmation and to stabilize the dream. I know whats going on before, the RC just makes me absolutely sure. And, to be honest... before I jump out of a window, I definitely do a solid RC first

I often jump out of windows right after becoming lucid. Never thought about doing a reality check first ...

But then again, mostly the windows are somewhat elastic - like a sheet of transparent rubber, and I will have to push myself quite far through them before the surface snaps, leaving me free to fly away. That probably wouldn't happen much with physical windows.
So ... is this the real universe, or is it just a preliminary study?

I've only flown by launching from the ground (lucidly, I've "jumped" out windows before non-lucidly). Well, one was sort of leaping off of a high deck but it had a railing that I flew over.

Actually despite the (banned) OP's troll-ness he has a good point: focusing on one's mental state is a great practice in waking life, and if one could manage to do that in a dream consistently then I think it would lead to a lot of great lucid dreams.

You better hope they don't invent rubber windows in the near future...
