Have first real, long, vivid, Lucid Dream[x]
Its sounds more like expectation to me and inexperience. In my opinion rubbing your hands continuously is not good. Not only would you be fueling the schema that you need to do this to LD,but also waste time doing that instead of doing what you want.DreamViews has a podcast about this stabilization topic, all of it's good stuff if you want to check it out.As for the control aspect of dreaming i'm afraid you might need someone more experienced,as I also have lack of control.I've never even flown,or summoned,or anything like that. But,if your philosophy is that anything's possible, which is mine as well. Then my best guess is that your subconcious doesn't think that. You still have your schemas.Like say if I believe anything is possible in a dream. Then I try to move this 2 ton boulder.I still have doubt about moving the boulder therefore control becomes more difficult. As for if it's normal for DC's to resist?I have no clue everyone's different, for me my DC's are pretty sarcastic, but willing to do alot of things with me.As for what you should do now depends largely on you.For me my goals are to get good at LD'ing then practice skills I can't really practice in real life.Plus a little fun here and there.I don't I'd be helping you if I told you where you should go.You can ensure your future success by staying committed that's for sure.My last tip for control would be patience. You can't become a 100% percent lucid dreamer over night, and I think most people get caught on how to do things, instead of finding what works for them.So I hope you found at least some of this helpful, and I forgot to mention your dream was hilarious! |

Just keep trying. It's all about repeating and attempting. |

If you feel like it, please take a look at my YouTube channel:

If you don't, hm well have a nice day anyway ^_^
Antarctica - Thanks, I found it funny too now that I'm awake and all. The problem with me is that when the results go away then the motivation goes away, and then the whole things disappears. My question is what I can do to ensure that results will continue at least a little, in your opinion. Thanks for what you had to say already, though |

In a recent dream I had I was flying but couldn't fly higher. There was a feeling that I couldn't do it and I needed to get better at it. But than I realized I didn't need to get better at it, I just needed to KNOW that I could do it. After that I let go of my worry and flew high in the sky admiring the houses as night turned to day. You might have fails at times but all you need is to KNOW you can do it.:3 |

Hi yost, I am very happy to hear of your success. A question--why not try to talk to the DC's and ask them why they are not interested? If you are trying to make out with DC models of waking life people (and these waking life people are not really interested in you) then it is not surprising that they resist, as you on some level perhaps expect them to. On the other hand, though, forcing yourself on people in the dreamscape (or compelling them to want you, etc.) may not be good practice for waking life. However, asking sincere questions usually is. I only speak from similar experience. Dreams are highly creative and full of interesting (and sometimes life-changing) advice. |

I've never been good at controlling DC's - in fact they are always constantly surprising me, I am always intrigued when one acts against my expectations as if it is autonomus of my conscience will- i've met some DC's who defy most of what I know about them- these DC's have depth and personality and intention. |

Okay Okay now I see yost,my advice would be to fall in love with the process.Whatever you do to get lucid, love it.Love it so much your motivation to do it stays just because you love the process, and end result. So what do you do if you don't love the process?Make it to where you can love it!I'm currently trying to do this with what I do to get lucid. This along with making the whole thing a habbit would go a long way in ensuring success.Since humans are habitual beings..I don't know if you've already thought of this or not. It's just how I see it. |
