Depends on how stable I feel the dream already is:
Very low stability / panic stabilising: spin with arms out
Mostly stable: become mindful, explore, try not to control too much, concentrate on the senses and try to forget I'm in a dream
Very stable: don't really do anything then, but if you want to do something really exciting then whatever you do don't get tunnel vision, try to keep the senses involved and feel the environment around you, I find that as soon as I concentrate too much on just one thing the dream destabilises very quickly
Also pretend you have all the time in the world, if you start thinking "oh crap I got 5 minutes of LD time max better do as much as I can" you're setting your own limit and the dream will probably end because that's what you think will happen.
