3 days of observation. Anyone want to join?

I started today practice 3 days of full effort to be as aware as i can and see what that does to my dreams and me.
I thought that if few people joined with me this experiment we could post here the results they had with me.

The idea is to put as much effort as you can in order to keep your mind silent and focused on present. This means you need to stop imagining, speculating or any other thing that requiers you to think too much (Of course not completely we have jobs). You need to be 3 days in present as aware as you can. This is really hard and i doubt anybody can stop their mind wandering completely but the idea is to see difference if this causes difference in your dreams. I have done this many times but now im going to put much more effort to being present all the time. I will post results after 3 days since im trying to decrease distractions such as computers, tv and smartphones.

I edited since my english is sometimes too confusing.

Three days?.. Three days of mindfulness isn't going to bring you much progress. That sort of mindset takes at least 3 weeks to sink in and boost your lucidity, and 3 months to greatly improve it overall (at least on average, theoretically).
What do experienced lucid dreamers keep telling us over and over? Give every technique its time.. You can't expect results in three days.

Edit; Oh, and, as for joining, I suppose I can, though I've already started this practice 4 days ago.

Yeah i know. I have practised mindfulness for 2 years and i have reachead to point where i have at least 5 lucid dreams a week. I always put effort to stay aware but its normal for me. I made my first post more clear. Easier to understand. I will be posting results after 3 days.

Is this like 3 Days of EXTREME Observation? If so, I can for sure see how that would help out.

Yup. The idea came that from my experiment with consciouss sleep. I noticed how our mind uses false logic in dreams and while falling asleep to make us completely lose awareness of everything. Also stops us questioning if were dreaming in dream creating stupid logic as if you start to fly and wondered how you do it you mind makes such a stupid explanation to it that you believe it. I thought if i manage to be in a dream without this dream logic it will increase my lucidity.

Its hard explain what i excatly i did but i try. I tried to be present moment all the time 3 days. Not allowing myself think, remember, visualize or imagine anything. I put all my focus on keeping my mind completely silent. This means that all my attention went to my senses. This is like extreme mindfullness.
I had pretty good results to dreaming and better understanding of mind.

Results on waking life: On second day i started to notice a lot of changes. I way more focused than normally. My mind was allmost completely silent and tend to notice more. When i walked the usually route since i couldnt allow myself to think i saw these small details and heard new sounds kind of differently. I felt really aware all the time without effort. Sometimes my mind started to wonder but i stopped it right away. Also i got these moments when i saw things differently. Like when you repeat the word many times over it sounds different but i saw my familiar places same way as the first time i saw them. This was weird but iteresting. I got suddenly iterested to look some object because they seemed different. I thought my mind was just trying to play tricks at me since i had to all the time obsereve something. This was pretty hard and required a lot of effort since i wanted to think and wonder about thing but i couldnt.

Results on dreaming: My dreams deffinetly got much more vivid and more stable. It seemed that my dream werent so random anymore they seemed more balanced. 3 days is still nothing but i still noticed these changes caused by my observant state of mind. I had 2 lucid dreams where i became lucid just suddenly saying this is dream and i calmy continued my dream lucid. They were both much more vivid than normally and were more stable and balanced. I think it was because of this experiment. Usually many of my lucids are ruined by stuff like wall caving in and weird stuff starts to happen all the time. Except in these they felt like as solid as reality that they had sense of balance that these random stuff wouldnt happen.

I noticed one thing that could affect lucid dreaming very negativily is active mind as i excepted. Because when many beginner become lucid they are start imiedenttally to think about how amazing being lucid and their mind start to wake up and boom their awake. Because i experimented with conscoiuss sleep and i noticed that mind also kinda falls asleep when dream happened and in my best lucid dreams i have always had this calm state of mind where i just do thing dont think allmost at all.
So i believe i might have found reason of these very unstable lucid dream. Think about it your failures and what they had in common.
