Just want to know which method everyone uses to wake up at night. When you want to wake up in the middle of the night (WBTB?) for any reason/induction methods or techniques you're doing. Do you do it naturally or do you do it via alarms? How exactly do you do it naturally or with an alarm? Is one method better than the other? |

I am opposite of AM--I wake naturally after about 5-6 hrs. I prefer waking up naturally, as I feel I have a chance to wake slowly without being jarred by the alarm (which can cause me to lose a dream). Drinking a good bit of water before bed can assist with natural wake-ups, as you will have to pee at some point |

Either naturally (by my dreams being super aware and noticing the awakenings because I am there) or by water. |

Don't want to say too much, but I have this app that has an alarm that is supposed to go off in a 30 minute period, but it goes off when it predicts me coming out of a REM cycle. |

The egg is the world.

I have a similar app like that called SleepCycle on the iphone. I think it's 99 cents and it does wake me up "at the end" of my REM cycle bu when I wake up I don't really feel much difference as to waking up from a regular alarm. |

I usually do it naturally when I have to get up to pee. |

Most of the time if i tell myself to wake up at time that is atleast three hours after i go to sleep (or physically set an alarm) i will wake up a few minutes before that time. I think its pretty cool that our minds can do that and keep track of time. |
