what way of entering lucid dreaming was this?

So I'm not really sure of the whole dream thing that happened to me last night but, I have tried to lucid dream before and unsuccessfully ill add, but I did last night. Well actually it was this morning. I woke up quite earlier from my sister leaving to go to a different state and I started texting my girlfriend. I told her I was tied and would probably fall asleep and she told me to just go to bed. So after 30 or so minutes I finally decided I would go back to sleep and I was still texting her. So I fell asleep and I immediately started dreaming. I was in the exact spot I fell asleep in, my couch in my living room. Now everything was black and white and really fuzzy. I looked out the window and I saw a truck speeding down the road. Back and forth four or five times until they drove into my driveway. I got up and went out to see who it was and it was a guy I know from school. He drove his truck forward into my garage door which I got mad went back inside and grabbed my gut hook knife and went back out trying to slice his trucks tires or atleast scratch it. But the dream was soo fuzzy I couldn't tell if I did anything or not. He ended up peeling out and left I went back inside and looked out the window again. This is where the dream changed completely. Another car like vehicle passed by, but it was just like the exoskeleton of a car. And it was very fast it pulled into my neighbors house and after that everything kinda went off and I dont know what happened but as soon as I regained my dream vision I was in that same spot and zombies were coming towards the window. So I locked the top lock on the window and thought oh no I have to lock the Bottem lock or they will get in. They ended getting through the Bottem of the window(which makes no sense as locking either lock locks it all the way but hey I was dreaming) so there was a zombie halfway in my window and I started having a conversation with it. All while nothing in this dream was clear. Everything was black and white I couldn't see much of any detail and well... That's how my dreams always are. Then for the second time everything faded and I dont know what happened but I ended up in a big city. Like new York. And the cavs ( my home team) were all around me in the streets which is when I gained realization that I had to be in a dream. But I wasn't quite sure I really was in a dream or not yet I thought I was It was iffy for me. I thought really quickly.. What do I do. I thought I could try to jump high and I did but I fell back down instantly as if gravity pulled me back. And I said no I gotta jump higher and I jumped and the ground below my feet basically exploded and I flew so high I didn't know where I was anymore. Everything started spinning and i felt a vibrating feeling throught my body. Everything faded. Now here's a questionable part. I gained lucidity once again but I'm not completely sure where in the dream I did it. All I remember was regaining it. I jumped up and grabbed a wood beam from inside a building and completely ripped it off the ceiling. I'm not sure where that happened but I thought wow that's cool I can't believe I'm dreaming. But again everything kept fading in and out. I lost lucidity again. And a whole new dream started I had some lucidity but by the time I could do anything it faded again. What kind of style of entering lucidity was this? And how do I maintain lucidty in the dream and make it vivid? Mostly everything was blurry in those cases except things I really tried to look at. The only time everything was pretty clear was when I first gained my lucidity and I saw the cavs and I jumped extremely high into the air. Thanks and sorry for how long this was I'm still pretty shocked it happend and I really wanna do it again.

You had a DILD. OR several DILDs, since you became lucid after the dream already started.

My best advice to keep from fading in and out so much is to focus on some smaller, more intimate goals once you become lucid. For example, instead of jumping high and ripping beams out of buildings, look at your hands. Count your fingers, touch things in your immediate surroundings. I find for me, this helps my subconscious by giving it time to fill in the dream setting which locks me in the dream more. I tend to wake up too soon sometimes when I go for the superhero type activities right away in my lucids lol.

      Hope this helps!
