Should i ask why you want to wake up? |
|
I've had 2 lucid dreams in a row as of today and yesterday but when I try shutting my eyes to wake up it never works. I mean like i'll shut them hard and it wont work, I blink rapidly and it wont work. Can you give me a few tips on how to wake up. And no, I will not kill myself in a dream. |

Sometimes I try to wake up because fear gets control of me and my brain makes bad things happen in the dream, thanks though, next time I'm lucid and want to wake up I'll try that |

Hey there, |

If your only reason why you want to wake up is because you want to get away from a bad dream, you could try changing the dream. |

I would never wake myself up during lucidity. It's just too interesting to let the moment pass you up. However, if you know you're dreaming you can force your (real) eyes to open. That is if you can feel them or sense your real body. It can be difficult or sometimes painful, a bit of a struggle but it does eventually work. Other ways are trying to force your real body to move or roll over. This means you have to be in part dream and part in your bed. I guess if you're just lucid and only sensing your dream body then these methods won't work right. Try getting really excited, that usually always wakes me up when I don't want it to. |
