Keep forgetting my mantras when MILD

So I've tried MILD for 3 days now and the thing about that is when I go to sleep and try to repeat my mantra after a while I just can't concentrate on what I want to say. Like, I just keep repeating "I will realize I'm dreaming" then a few minutes later it seems like my mind wanders and I completely forget what the sentence is. Can you give me some advice on this? Thank you in advance!

When doing a MILD method one isn't expected to sustain awareness while going to sleep at night. It's meant to set the intention in ones mind so that later when the dream cycle starts one is more likely to become lucid.

^ This. Also, check my signature link for what Stephen LaBerge told us about MILD at his retreat.

So the point is to set the intention of wanting to have lucid dream while going to sleep right? I'm really worried that I'm not practicing MILD the right way. Thank you for your guidance

Set intention. Fall asleep. Have a lucid dream. If you are talking to me, then yes, PM is fine.
