Spiritual or Religious Beliefs and LD

Does anyone else find if they spend the day dedicated to their beliefs they have a lucid dream? On days when I study Buddhism intensively I always have a lucid dream. I perform reality checks and dream journal, but those in combination with spiritual growth seem to provide the best results for me.

I'd love to hear from everyone.

Well shoot. I have a recurring dream character who claims to be God showing up in my dreams. 2 days ago I had a phone conversation with a friend about NDEs and whether or not God was real, and the same night that character showed up in my dream again.

I have found this true as well. The first full WILD or 'out of body experience' I had was after going to sleep in the afternoon after doing several hours of reading and contemplation of the bhagavad gita.

Was your dream in any way related to the contents of the Gita?

No sadly. I was laying back doing the rope method and the next thing I knew I was flying through my wall and into my back yard. Not having a lot of experience with such things at the time I thought that perhaps I had accidentally caused my own death. I only looked around for a moment before running back to where I thought my body would be, when I entered my room I woke up.

Ah, okay. It just seemed reasonable to expect you to dream about a thing you had been reading about. Then again, my dreams tend to incorporate stuff I've read/watched a little bit down the line rather than the same night, so.
