As far as stress hormones go, I didn't mean to imply that it only happens if you've experienced a lot of stress lately. It can definitely make a difference, but you could have some abnormality causing greater amounts of stress hormones to build up. Based off the limited information you've given us, it sounds more psychological than (neuro)biological, but definitely mention this to a doctor of yours to get it checked out.
I understand now, and as I have little to no knowledge of stress hormones it is completely possible for a buildup to have happened. As for the drugs, it is also possible for that to have affected because I do have a lot of caffeine in my diet. As for it being psychological, it probably is and I will get it checked out as soon as I can.
