      I got sleep paralysis

      Hi guys.
Last night I tried to deild.
I stayed still with my eyes closed and I entered sleep paralysis.
I even thought that was a lucid dream xD
It was a scary as fu** experience.
      Weird sounds and images.
Is this technique going to cause that every single time?

Did I lose my chance of entering a dream after that?
I thought it was - stay still with your eyes closed until you're in a lucid dream, and I found myself into a sp instead.

How do I deal with that?
I was really shocked by it.

I've found a majority of my experiences in REM Atonia/SP were cool rather than scary. There are ways to transition from it to a dream, it's a matter of using suggestion and expectation. I always imagine, or rather "know" (for lack of a better way of putting it) that there is a vortex by my head or feet, and once I'm sucked all the way through (which maybe takes a second), I know I'll be in a dream. It works remarkably well for me as a technique, hopefully if you find yourself in a situation like this again you can try it out and it helps you get a lucid dream.

I've found that it's possible to control (or change) what images you see during sleep paralysis. So if you see something disturbing, try and change it into something else, just like you would in an actual dream. It's still your subconscious generating images, so you should still be able to override what it's trying to do.

And yeah, it's possible to transition to a lucid dream from sleep paralysis. If you're conscious of the fact that your body is going into sleep paralysis, then that's already half the battle. Your body should descend into a dream state naturally if you keep your eyes closed; you just need to maintain lucidity.

      titleness:)

You should be very happy with this result,Jacket!Especially if u achieved this so easyly.
Becouse if u got SP and u still concious, from there to get an LD is extremely easy. You dont even need to now any tech from there, just stay concious and wait! Observe the images which u can see, and thats it. It will transform to a complete dreamscape.
I also tried the alarm clock method couple month ago lot of times. I've setted the auto shot off alarm 4-5 hours ahead when i went to bed, but i always ended up falling asleep unconciously in 2-3 seconds

But i have experienced already what i said in the beginning of my comment so i know what im talkin about.
unfortunately i get to concious SPs VERY RARELY
