I have experienced very realistic pain, dizziness, nausea, heart palpitation, and trauma in dreams. Some of my most traumatic dream experiences had manifested in my waking reality as well such as passing of my significant other. In my dreams I was overtaken by grief, but in waking reality it was worse. I had total nervous breakdown and attempted suicide lots of times before I became "stable". So the traumatic nightmares were hardly as intense as waking reality. You are only going to experience in lucid dream any health issues that are likely to happen in regular dreams or in waking reality itself. If anything, it will likely be less intense in lucid dreams if you have the awareness "I'm dreaming". If you have a history of heart attacks I would advice against seeking to experience your fears in lucid dreams or if that's not possible take it in baby steps. |
