      I just had my first DILD! But...

      It was when I wasn't trying. See, I was struggling with a lot of things the past few days so I wasn't really up to the task of lucid dreaming. So, that night when I went to bed (Okay, I fell asleep around 4-5 AM), I suddenly knew I was dreaming. I preformed the hand through the palm RC and the nose RC, and both of them worked. I felt real excitement but I also knew that if I got too excited that I'd wake up. Shortly after, I did wake up.

      Why is it I always seem to have them when I don't even try? Has anybody else experienced this?

      My first Lucid Dream was at the same day I decided to give up. I was trying everyday, then after two months, I lost lost faith and got my first unintentionally. (Click here) I think both of our experiences are similar.

      One thing crossed my mind later then, is that I thought I was trying too hard, this might be the case but I'm not sure.
