You may not be able to take those photos outside your mind literally but you can try recreating the scenery by painting or drawing what you remember. Its worth a try even if you have to practice drawing/painting. Its okay if you dont believe in shared dreaming. The good thing is that you gave it a chance. I've had some dreams that make me feel that it may be possible but i feel like I need more experiences or at least to make more attempts at it.If seeking sex distracts you than maybe you can come up with an exciting goal to take your mind off it.

Although I can be brave one mistake that I keep making is that when I am faced with a fear of mine I try to run/fly away from it. Specifically creepy church, cemetery or hospitals. I don't think they've popped up in my dreams recently though.

Long before I knew anything about lucid dreaming, I would often draw top-down plans of the places in my dreams (my dreams frequently take place in unfamiliar places); although these were more intended to be practical illustrations of the dreams than representations of their beauty. What I'd really like is some software that would let me recreate my dreams and the places I encounter as interactive 3D worlds; especially if such worlds could be experienced in VR. The closest I ever got was building my dreams in 90's/2000's map editors for FPS games, but the limited assets in those games didn't really permit me to create anything close to what I actual experienced.
