I've been working on my prospective memory recently actually. Specifically event-based prospective memory.

I'd just like to put this out there... It can feel kind of discouraging at first when you try to train this, but if you stick at it, it quickly improves and you'll surprise yourself with how well you've just programmed your mind.

I use my phone to give me audio cues do do reality cheeks, birds chirping. But, it plays on interval while i'm asleep as well thus bringing it within my dream in a sense. I had some success with it, so it's not all bad. However, I do agree it's important to develop prospective memory on our own.

Thanks Daniel! I also liked your video about "New Years Dream" and the Japanese dream eating monster. I sometimes try to train prospective memory, but... I need to program some kind of check in at the end of the day. Like, I could have some prospective memory goals to try.

For example, I could have a goal of remembering to take my dishes down stairs next time I go down there. But then... I get downstairs and realize... Oh! I forgot my dishes again! I'll have to put them by the stairs so I can't miss them, once I get back up there. LOL. Then, I get upstairs, do some stuff, go back down stairs, and, OH! I forgot to put my dishes by the stairs...

Although I do remember to RC when I see some dream signs in waking life. So it definitely does get better. Like today something odd happened, and I very consciously remembered to RC.
