Lightbulb prime directive of the dream world

      Hey Everyone

acillis here. this post is way over due and its time i posted it! i believe there are rules in the dream world, what are they?
i truly do not know. the purpose of this post is to gather all who can lend a hand in creating what you could call the prime directive of the dream world.
i follow strict guide lines. common respect. its not hard. i am posting here to get help in creating the *prime directive* throw your idea's out here. discuss
it. help form it. help me evolve my own prime directive. some people may think this is a stupid idea! but i do not! i hope others can help me out here
is there such a thing already? i do not know. i do not believe i have heard of anyone else mention such a thing as this.
if this takes off. it could help future oneironauts in there quest to further understand nature of dreams & reality.
hell. it could even help people function better in this reality.

Sounds corny I know, but maybe it's to just have fun and follow your heart.

Not at all corny in my view.

I don't think there are any 'necessary' rules unless we as individuals feel that we would like to have some rules.
Your rules might be different than my rules and that's perfectly ok ... with me.

Now that I think of it, I guess I have a rule that probably fits right into "follow your heart" and that would be "do no harm."

I think we each make our own inner rules.....our own prime directive.....in our lives and therefore in our dreams. In lucid dreaming we have the opportunity to change those rules completely and perhaps establish a new and improved "prime directive" that we can take back across the threshold into our waking world.

mauaha.. yeah bro... i learnt some pretty hard truths the hard way in my eariler lucid dreams. when i was just training my self and my awareness to stay sharp and stable,
but yeah i got alittle to deep into it all. and the focus of it all. to the point i was going to watch the death process as it accured. not my own death but that of a dream charater.
i was lucid and grabbed this little yellow dinosaur thing tightly. big enough that i could hold it in one hand. its head and mouth trying to bite my fingers. there was a acid pool near the flock of little yellow dinosaurs. and when the little bugger tried to bite my fingers off. i thought ill start this experiment with this thing!
and dipped its head in the toxic fumes for seemed a second or two. when i brought him up his head was gone and the body was pissing out all this yellow/orange crap and i slapped him on the ground. i crouched down and focused all my attention & also awareness and trained my whole lucidity set on his corpse.
it faded away to a yellowy gooish light thing. a blobby thing. faded away to nothingness. leaving me with a big hole of nothingness in my core. i left that experience feeling very empty and did not gain anything from the experience *that i knew of at the time* i think i misunderstood something i read back then in my youth. totally if you ask me! but since then. i never harmed any other creature while lucid again. well.. not those that attacked me first though. lets face it shadow beings deserve to be attacked.
i walked away from that lucid dream with a greater knowledge that is hard to express. sometimes destruction is'nt always best.
      sometimes creations the answer.

I guess what fascinates us about lucid dreaming is that there are no pre-fixed rules apart from self-imposed ones.
«The trick is to combine your waking rational abilities with the infinite possibilities of your dreams.
Because, if you can do that, you can do anything».

are you sure? i totally disagree with you. but your intitled to your opinion mate. i just totally disagree an am probably just as stronged faithed in my opinion as you are in yours. i learnt in my Lucid dreaming experience you cannot walk around and do whatever you feel like like it. no matter what your excuses, thats what i believe.
i learnt this by being lucid. to me dreaming and especially lucid dreaming. are more like magnets. Magnets can either attract or repel each other. people doing what they want all the time? would be chaos. it is chaos at least on the spiritual level of things. i wont get into that much here if i can. ill keep it spiritually simple for you.
if you go around doing bad evil shit. thats the type of experiences you can be sure that'll be awaiting you <in some beliefs like mine and others its evolving, yet its really old as the hills, the schools have long died away> on the other hand? you do good things. you actually get rewarded for it. the rewards are few but the ones you get are really worth it and ill end this reply to you dixonhill you get what you put out.
