Lightbulb Link between Misophonia and Lucid Dreaming Efficiency

Hey everyone. This is the Voidway Explorer, previously known as JustPhillip. I wanted to start a discussion here regarding a connection I've been theorizing between Misophonia and Lucid Dreaming Efficiency.
For those of you who don't know, Misophonia is a mental condition which causes tension and mental distress when exposed to certain noises. It's in a range, meaning some people experience minor irritations while others go through extreme stress while dealing with it. I have had misophonia that's been getting worse and worse over the course of a year now (trigger noise being screeching birds), and recently I've begun noticing something.

The severity of my misophonia increasing, has directly coordinated with my efficiency getting lucid dreams. I have been doing the same practice I have for about a year now, but the stronger the misophonia's gotten the less I've been able to successfully lucid dream. Now you could boil it down to just the stress associated with it decreasing lucidity, but I think it's more than that. 2022 was one of the most stressful years of my life (with it being fine lucidity-wise), and my condition only began starting around the end of that year. From mid-2023 to now have I gotten a rapid increase in misophonia severity and at the same time a rapid decrease in lucid dreams and quality. I don't believe it's a coincidence, and I want to confirm my theory. If anybody has any thoughts about this, please discuss below.

Well, you probably want to get it checked out with a doctor.
I personally never that had happened to me before unless I have a fever.

Already have. They haven't given great help, and I've been dealing with this for so long I feel like the only thing I can do to stop it is get rid of the birds, which I can't just do. I don't think it's a condition that comes and goes either, especially with it being triggered 24/7. It did get me to notice this in particular so I'm very interested if it's truly related.

Have you tried using Noise-canceling headphones for Misophonia? I've heard somewhere that there may be no way to eliminate misophonia, there are lots of treatments for misophonia that can help you to better manage your reactions to triggering sounds.

Lol, only way I can sleep normally is with a combination of earplugs and noise cancelling headphones. If anything I have to wear them like glasses at this point. I really have tried everything. Noise blocking, meditation, but I believe there's nothing I can do to solve it other than wait for them to go away while keeping my sanity. I enjoy staying away from home whenever possible though so that I get less of it.

According to definition I can say that I have misophonia but I never went to doctor. Acctually I always called my state a trauma.
      Backstory:
When I started to work on vessels my brain connected some sounds like footstep on corridor or telephone ring with emergency situation, so now when I hear phone ring or some noises out of my flat or cabin I feel stress. Sometimes I can jump like scaredy cat when I hear telephone in movie xD Now my resistance for stress is much higher that before so my trauma is minor right now.

I never looked for connection between my trauma and lucid dreaming but yes - on the beginning when my reaction was very strong also I got LD block. I had 2 years without any LD. When my reactions started to cool down I have much more LDs. But in my opinion it is coincidence, or related with stress in general
