This may not be the suggestion you are looking for, but it is a suggestion.

I tend to incubate specific behaviors. I believe there are good and bad ways to conduct one's self while dreaming. For example, running away from things, looking for things are both bad behaviors that may extend for the duration of a dream. Before I sleep I tell myself "I stand still and face my fears, I am not violent" or "I refuse to search for things, I move on and find better things later". *

As an example, last night I was running from an upset school committee. I just told myself to stop running. I did and I realized something important. Not that I was dreaming, but that I was in control. I bypassed lucidity and went straight to (dream) control. I was not "online" and thinking. However, when one subconsciously programs one's behaviors, one does not need to do that. One still havs the ability to make decisions.
Good post... I totaly agree...
