The purpose of this a thread is to index all experienced lucid dreamers' abilities. It will serve as a reference for less accomplished and experienced lucid dreamers.

Here's the template for lucid dreamers posting in this thread:

Frequency of lucid dreams: (at will, 3 per night, etc.)
Induction methods used: It would be useful to note the methods you find most effective/use most often.
Dream control: (1-3 sentence description)
Amount of time it took to reach my present level:
Special achievements:

Feel free to give suggestions on how to improve the template, and on anything else related to the thread.

Thanks for your time,
-Jonathan.

Frequency of lucid dreams: around 1.5 per week on average
Induction methods used: dild, one successful wild
Dream control: Flight: mastered. Changing dreamscape by either doors or spinning: mostly mastered. Affecting the world (i.e explosions and time control) : 50% success rate. Creating people: fail
Amount of time it took to reach my present level: 4 months (i.e since joining this forum)
Special achievements: Set out to have a lucid fight with sephiroth after watching advent children, succeeded within 2 nights. (Didn't finish the fight though, I still have unfiinished business with him)

Frequency of lucid dreams:
at least 6 a week, I can have them every night but since the WILD method takes up alot of the night its not very healthy (5 out of those 6 are WILD induced, although I pretty much half know I'm dreaming in every dream i have now)

Induction methods used:
WILD, but I do use MILD on a nightly basis which gives me at least one per week

Dream control:
Total domination of my surroundings. In other words I can pretty much do anything I want with no problems whatsoever (although if I use too much control {ie. decide that the world should melt and then reconstruct itself molecule by molecule} it really takes away from the dream due to making it less stable and less realistic)

Amount of time it took to reach my present level:
Almost a year to get here

Special achievements:
Becoming a master of my lucids. One night I just suddenly knew why it was so stupid to not be able to control my dreams. Ever since then I've never had any problems with my control

Frequency of lucid dreams:
When I'm really motivated and dedicated to my journal, I can have up to 1 or 2 a week. When I don't really try, it's more like 1 a month.

Induction methods used:
I don't usually WILD, I am more successful doing reality checks during the day, keeping up with my journal, and then what happens is I usually DILD to attain lucidity. Kinda random, but it's what works best for me.

Dream control:
If it's a really short LD that happend right before I wake up, it's mroe than likely really short, not too vivid, and not alot of control. But if I have one earlier in the night, or if I'm sleep deprived and have an LD during a nap, then I'll have a nice, long lucid that's really vivid, and I can control just about everything.

Amount of time it took to reach my present level:
Before I found DV, I just had them randomly, maybe a few per year. When I stumbled across this place however, it only took me a couple of weeks to get up to 2 LDs per week. I attribute it to dream journaling, reality checking, and reading through all the tutorials on the main site.

Special achievements:
Longest Dream Journal on DV. LOL, I don't think I have really any trait that sets me apart from other lucid dreamers. I consider myself average at it. I get better or worse depending on my dedication. Oh, one thing: I no longer have the trouble of waking up once I'm lucid...getting control over being too overly excited at the moment of attaining lucidity is an achievement, not sure how 'special' it is though.

Frequency of lucid dreams:
Differs, sometimes 2-3 a month, during dryspells it can take several months before i have one and during a month every now and then i have plenty.

Induction methods used:
DILD and WBTB. i also write RC on my left hand where my clock is for reality checks during the day

Dream control:
total control except that i have troubles controlling DC's

Amount of time it took to reach my present level:
3 months to learn how to control the dreams and maybe 6 months before i started having LD's on a regular basis.

Special achievements:
I've destroyed the world a couple of times and i bet i must've killed well over thousand people (excluding world destructions).

Frequency of lucid dreams:
Recently about 1 a month, but back when i was at a peak it was 1 or 2 a week.

Induction methods used:
I use a type of Wake Back To Bed but its more i wake up for just enough time to make sure that im not dreaming and then will walk myself back into the last dream i had. DILD

Dream control:
This depends on my lucid level and the dream lenght. The more lucid i am the better control i have. also the longer it last the more control i gain

Amount of time it took to reach my present level:
Before the site about 4 years ago i would have a DILD about every other month but i would wake up about 4 minutes into it. so 4 years to reach my level right now

Special achievements:
RESIDENT ASS... alot of my dreams are very developed
you can't do that on the internet!.... wait yes you can do it again!

Frequency of lucid dreams:
Roughly one a week. The consciousness in the average LD is low, but I'll occassionally get LD's that are as seemingly real as life.

Induction methods used:
DILD. If I want to attemp a lucid otherwise, I think about it greatly before going to sleep, and it will usually cary through to the dream.

Dream control:
Just about everything. I can fly with ease and alter the surroundings and DC's at will, but I don't go overboard. I do preffer to have some fun in my dreams, and using what the dream gives me to mess around in is good enough for me.

Amount of time it took to reach my present level:
About a year or so. Its been running steady with no big changes in my lucid experiences.

Special achievements:
Figuring out how to change surroundings by 'blinking', and not spinning. I've never used the spinning method and have found my own way.

Frequency of lucid dreams:
About 5 or 6 every week.

Induction methods used:
WILDs most of the time, FILDs occasionally.

Dream control:
I can do pretty much anything in my dreams. Just knowing that I can do anything because I made everything gives me the ability to, well, do anything.

Amount of time it took to reach my present level:
7 months

Special achievements:
Gaining 100% realism and 100% control. Though on rare occasions I encounter problems that can't be fixed, it's always when my lucidity is very low.

I haven't had one either. But if I do have one I will try to somehow summon you to my dream and make you lucid too. I don't know how that's going to work though. Hmmm.

Frequency of lucid dreams: Never.
Induction methods used: I've tried and failed at WILDs. Right now I'm just going to work on my RCs and hopefully just wake up in a dream.
Dream control: None.
Amount of time it took to reach my present level: 1 month.
Special achievements: I can hold my breath for a long time. I don't think that has anything to do with dreams though.

Frequency of lucid dreams:
Right now 4-5 a month, but during vacations or times when life is calmer, maybe 2 a week. Like Ophelia, it has to do with how much time I can dedicate to reality checks and induction.

Induction methods used:
Recognizing dream signs is still the #1 method for me. WILD when my schedule permits me to get more than 6 hours of sleep a night.

Dream control:
My lucids are usually very vivid and I am fully involved. I can fly any time I like. I have 75% control over inanimate matter, I can morph it or destroy it, but for some reason have problems creating it. I have almost full control over dream characters, perhaps 90%, but generally don't do such things.

Amount of time it took to reach my present level:
I have been LDing for 15 years now, but was not really serious about it until October 2003 when I stumbled across DV. It took me about 1.5 years to reach my present level.

Special achievements:
Nah, nothing special, although a few times I have talked to DCs about lucid dreaming, that's always kind of cool.

Frequency of lucid dreams: Average 1.5 LD per week
Induction methods used: Lucid Living (+RC) + MILD + short WBTB
Dream control: Very low. Sometimes I can fly or summon a lion.
Amount of time it took to reach my present level: 2 weeks
Special achievements: A lot of my erotic nonlucid dreams are "selfsexual" or homosexual .
Lucid Count: 60 (a lot from dream reentry and recognizing FA)

Frequency of lucid dreams: Unknown (never had one)
Induction methods used: Trying DILDS, failing at WILDS
Dream control: Unknown (like I said, never had a LD)
Amount of time it took to reach my present level: 1 week
Special achievements: About 70%-75% of the dreams I have, I know I'm dreaming them, but never acted upon them to go lucid.

Induction methods used: All DILD's. I keep a lucky sleep schedule. When I fall asleep I hope for the best.
Dream control: Not really anything. I can't fly or do much. However I can summon objects now (a mario 64 wing cap and a ferari).

Frequency of lucid dreams: Around 1 LD per week, but not necesarily always with good control.

Induction methods used: Mainly DILD's, but a few WILD's

Dream control: Fairly good with WILD's, variable with DILD's. I can spawn things at will, as long as I do it out of sight (behind me, or behind a closed door). I can run at super speeds like superman. I sometimes lose control when I attempt to fly though. But I often have low level lucidity dreams where I have little, or no control at all. My control is very variable.

Amount of time it took to reach my present level: I've been attempting to LD on purpose for around two years, but I used to have a few spontanious LD's before that as well (before I knew much about LDing at all).

Special achievements: Nothing too special really. I'm getting pretty good at WILDing though. I can do it 4 times in about 5 attempts which I don't think is too bad.

Frequency of lucid dreams: About twice a week.
Induction methods used: 50%, no method; 40%, reality check; 10% WILD.
Dream control: Summoning objects and people, flight, telekinesis, waking at will, consciousness of how long the dream will last, intensification of sensory input, including smell, taste, touch, sense of motion.
Amount of time it took to reach my present level: Off-and-on my whole life (natural lucid dreamer)
Special achievements: Can signal a LD to the outside world via vertical eye movements.

Frequency of lucid dreams: few times a month

Induction methods used: Well, throughout the "waking" world, I practice trying to be aware of myself as much as possible. This carries over into my subconsciousness and then I become aware in dreams. The one that almost always wakes for me is pulling my finger throughout the day and asking myself if I'm dreaming. I always end up doing this when I'm dreaming and when I see my finger stretch, I know I'm dreaming.

Dream control: I can manifest things, objects and call on people. If I'm in a dark room that feels ominious, I just envision it filling with light and it does. It's kind of hard for me right now to stay lucid for a long period. I'm working more on that then anything else right now.

Amount of time it took to reach my present level: I've had lucid dreams every now and then throughout my life, but only during the last 6 months have I been really working at it.

Special achievements: Got out of body several times, but not too far.

Frequency of lucid dreams: about 3-4 good ones a month, usually all togheter in a week
Induction methods used: Only DILD (not really RCs, mostly habit). very rare an hibrid between WILD and DILD.
Dream control: usually pretty wide, often problems to remember DCs are not real
Amount of time it took to reach my present level: since childhood, but i haven't made any real progress in the last years.
Special achievements: possibility to get almost every dream to end even if i don't get properly lucid , and often some control -almost always flying (like every dream is sort of a low-low-low-level lucid)

Well, if I were to put some work into my WILDing I could WILD at will. But my DILD's are seriously lower, maybe 1 or 2 a month? I kindof learned to run before I could crawl.

Induction methods used: It would be useful to note the methods you find most effective/use most often.
Definitely WILD, but I would like to develop my DILDing abilities.

Dream control: (1-3 sentence description)
I usually have completely control over my dream self. Appearance, clothes, weapons, wings, etc. I can usually manipulate objects and morph them. But it seems that ever since an incident awhile back I seem to have a virus in my dreams of certain things I can't control. But I can manipulate weather, setting, people, things... But I'd say only about 70% of those things.

Amount of time it took to reach my present level:
Well, when I first learned about Lucid Dreams in 2002 it took me about 2 years to get where I could WILD at will. But I've since lost that sharpness.

Special achievements:

Frequency of lucid dreams:
2-3 times a week for life so far

Induction methods used:
First go to sleep 6 hrs. Set an alarm; wake and get out of bed and perform a mechanical task that requires you to think and use your abilities, ex: start your car and move your parking spot. (MOST EFFECTIVE) After doing s'thing go back to bed and I always have a vivid lucid experience, I believe that you mind thinks it still awake but you are sleeping which induces lucidity, rather than waking up and going back to sleep, performing a tasks sort of gets your gears in motion, for example by me getting out of bed to move my car to the next parking spot always works because it only takes me 2-3minutes or less to do, and doesn’t make me wake up enough where I’m still tired. While my mind thinks I’m going to drive somewhere, I always have a lucid dream starting with me driving my car, always works, try it sometime.

Dream control:
Anything I desire, have sex with a hot DC chick or why not 2 hot DC Chicks, drive my car recklessly through the city smashing into everything and not a scratch on my car, flying and jumping. I even think of conversations to make up to get information out of DC’S (Utilize my social engineering skills). Explore my minds view on life and my dreamscape surroundings. Observe creatures that only exist in my mind and in real life too. Everything I think of I see, ex: giant white robot Siamese cat, large 50foot white Siamese cat appears breaking out of the ground rising 50ft high. Even do serious things like meet with important DC’S for discussions and meetings.

Amount of time it took to reach my present level:

Frequency of lucid dreams: It WAS three or four a week... then went two months without any, I think, but what really happened was I completely lost dream recall. (It is just now coming back.)

Induction methods used: DILD seems to be the most common for me. The dream journal is a monster tool for getting my mind right in recognizing dream signs. I MILD and WILD too, but most are DILD.

Dream control: I have fantastic control when I am able to reason, which is not a given. I've had a lot of lucids where I just end up wandering about aimlessly because my brain just doesn't seem to want to engage.

Amount of time it took to reach my present level: There are two ways for me to look at this. I have been working the techniques pretty diligently for a bit less than a year. I used to lucid as a child though and lost it.

Special achievements: I have nailed two of the monthly tasks in one dream, fly at will, am able to create (or rather "find") situations, places and things I want with ease. I guess that my age (45+) makes lucid dreaming at all somewhat of an achievement.

Again, my struggles seem to be with dream recall rather than the LDs themselves. I'm sure I've "lost" many an LD.

I don't consider myself advanced or experienced.. However others seem to have filled this out so why not.

Frequency of lucid dreams: 1 or 2 a month. (sometimes more or less. i.e. in the last three days i have had 2 )
Induction methods used: DILD, WBTB, REALITY CHECKS
Dream control: mid to high. I usually have quite good control.
Amount of time it took to reach my present level: 4 - 5 months
Special achievements: I got this months lucid task. (asking a dream character if i was dreaming). I also shot myself in the head to see what death is like in dreams. I've frozen crowds of people... I often fly.. etc. The coolest thing ive done is turning the clouds over top of a stadium into rock, and caused it to crash down and crush the people below.

Frequency of lucid dreams: About 1-2 every fortnight (sometimes more, sometimes less)

Induction methods used: DILD (mainly; by using reality checks and accidental LD) WILD (twice)

Dream control: Well it depends, i can walk through walls and windows easily, i can fly quite abit but i usually need to jump off somewhere high. Sometimes i am able to have DCs appear by turning around.

Amount of time it took to reach my present level: About 1 year (since joining DV)

Special achievements: Remembered to ask someone what the meaning of life was, however the reply was in the tune of "always look on the bright side of life" and sounded like it was backwards. And successfully having a WILD - AKA: finding a use for Sleep Paralisis
