Frequency of lucid dreams: I just ''DILD'' for no reason at all, so nearly every night. (Sometimes multiple ones a night)

Induction methods used: I seem to have high affinity for DILD's. HILD (heat, aka thirst), WBTB

Dream control: Capable of almost anything you can think of, in any manner you can think of.
Amount of time it took to reach my present level: 0 Minutes, it just spontaneously came (I wasn't training for it, I just ''noticed'&#39

Special achievements:
Mastering almost everything there's to master?

Suggestion:
I created an encyclopedia once with ALL lucid dream abilities possible, how hard they are etc. etc. and how to use them to increase effectiveness.

Maybe you should index it like that as well, instead of the experiences of people.

Frequency of lucid dreams:

I'd say at most 2 per month (i've had four in total). Two have been very brief, very unclear, but very controlled. Two have been very long, very vivid, and also very controlled.

Induction methods used:

Every single lucid has been a DILD.

Dream control:

On a scale of one to ten (ten being the best) I would classify myself somewhere around a six.

Amount of time it took to reach my present level:

It's been about three months for me now.

Special achievements:

I've impressed myself with the vivid-ness of my first lucid dream. It was very vivid and very controlled for a first lucid dream (from what I've heard).

I have:

• Flown
• Created objects
• Changed scenery (inaccurately)
• Completed the lucid task (beginner)
• Willingly had sex

Frequency of lucid dreams: About every third night.

Induction methods used: I don't practise lucid dreaming much. I do reality checks sometimes though. Most of my lucids are WILDs.

Dream control: Usually I can control them fully, with good clarity. I still have problems teleporting/getting where I want, so I usually just do the stuff in the place I go lucid at. Also, I still have problems staying in the dream and not waking up (not exitement, the dream just shuts down in a fraction of a second and I wake up, not much I can do about it)

Amount of time it took to reach my present level: 3 years.

Special achievements: 8 WILD's in one night, in a row.

My dream recall has became shit lately, I really should start a dream journal. I barely remember the dreams I have each night.

Frequency of lucid dreams: Several a week. maybe 5 or so, but I don't retain lucidity in all of them.
Induction methods used: Natural and reality checks, so far.
Dream control: Sometimes my lucidity stops at knowing that I'm dreaming, but other times, if I don't get distracted, I have complete control of myself, moderate control of dc's and sporatic control of my environment. I can decide that I want to be somewhere else, and then I'll be somewhere else, only it's always a completely random place.
Amount of time it took to reach my present level: I've been lucid dreaming for maybe 10 years now, but until I stumbled upon this site maybe a week and a half ago, I never imagined there were so many ways I could work at and get better with it.
Special achievements:
Flight(at first it was clumsy and unstable, but now I can do it with ease, and I can move very very fast)
Can change location at will(end up in a random place)
Can remove and replace limbs
Can reset time
Can pass through dc's bodies(never tried passing through walls)
Can summon people
Can control dc's(usually with sexy results)
Can change into different people, creatures, objects
Can end the dream and usually wake up(although sometimes, I just wake up into another dream where I'm dreaming I'm waking up...)

I think that's the lot of it.

Frequency of lucid dreams: on average 1-3 per week without trying, less when stressed, more when relaxed/ on holiday. When trying and thinking about dreaming, keeping a dream journal, intending to LD, doing daytime RCs etc then it can go up to 1-3+ per night - but this gets tiring after a while. When non-stressed and WILDing, its everytime (but I haven't done that for a couple of years). LDs usually last 1-10 mins or so sometimes much longer and occassionaly it seems to be all night (not sure - and I know perceived time gets distorted).

Induction methods used: DILD - i.e. I just get the feeling I'm dreaming. Dreamsigns include being barefoot or laws of physics being badly broken (but usually I don't notice and fly most of the time without becoming lucid). Also explored WILD with success, RCs (remind myself to do so by writing ?dreaming? on notes around the house), mugwort tea before bed (I think this works but could be placebo?).

Dream control: Excellent - from control of self (which is where I usually leave it as I enjoy the adventure) to almost god-like total control limited only by my imagination in theory - in practice various limits do creep in.

Amount of time it took to reach my present level: Natural LDer for as long as I can remember - but have been improving over 37 years, which makes up for a loss of frequency due to growing old (REM time decreases supposedly before increasing again in later years?)

Special achievements: Learning to WILD (and fine-tuning the point of transition), spinning to teleport or maintain/prolong lucidity, also 'plucking dreamstuff' to prolong lucidity, and a few other techniques for increasing lucidity (like shouting, or looking at something in detail). Learning to go back into a dream after waking (basically WILDing). Discovering tantric dream yoga, and using it for WILDing (previously I used a hybrid technique - 'seeing with eyes closed' - from an AP book). Discovering DV!

Goal: I'm sure there's more than just this - but I still haven't managed to have sex to orgasm without waking!

Frequency of lucid dreams: 1.5 a week

Induction methods used: MILD/DILD

Dream control: almost no control. Yet in the three lucids I've had I just cannot stop myself from floating off the ground once I realize that I'm dreaming. Need to work some on establishing lucidity

Amount of time it took to reach my present level: three weeks

Special achievements: flying away. I'm really quick to get from ground to the outer space
Currently practicing WILD. I quote Kaniaz who said it best: "The point of WILD is to piss me off". Though, I have not given up, far from it.

Frequency of lucid dreams: Every time I sleep
Induction methods used: None. I just "awaken".
Dream control: Complete
Amount of time it took to reach my present level: Started with one dream at age 6.
Special achievements: Reducing the level of lucidity in order to experience a degree of randomness.

Frequency of LD's: At least once a month or a month and a half

Induction Method(s): So far, the 3 that I've had have all been DILDs , but for some strange reason, all 3 LDs happened when I wasn't thinking about dreaming at all...

Dream Control: I haven't exerted any control yet, because I wanted to see where the dreams would take me. Ya know, since I'm a novice and all... I've also tried to fly, but that didn't work out so well.

Amount of Time to Reach Present Level: From Feb. 2006 to Aug. 2006. Basically the last half of my 8th grade year to the beginning of my 9th.

Special Achievements: Well, I have been able to prolong my LDs and not wake up because I got too excited in them. And from what I've read, alot of newbies make that mistake, so I'm glad I was different!

Frequency of lucid dreams: (at will, 3 per night, etc.) whenever I do wbtb I have a 50/50 chance I believe
Induction methods used: It would be useful to note the methods you find most effective/use most often. wbtb, a few wilds
Dream control: (1-3 sentence description) poor (I don't spend as much time on this as I would like.)
Amount of time it took to reach my present level: I've been on and off for many years.
Special achievements: 4 ld's in one night, 4 nights when I went lucid in a row

Frequency of LDs: on average, a handfull each night.

Induction methods used: WBTB, DILD, WILD, FILD, MILD, Listening to dream log, occasional fasting and potentiaters (salvia, camu berry, lactusa virosa, others)

Dream control: Extremely varied, from having trouble floating, to flying around and creating storms.

Amount of time to reach present level: I intentionally started practicing LDing in 2003 but naturally started having LDs some time a year or so before that. When I was 11, way before I had any LDs I did a report at school on dream induction devices, so I had an intense interest in dreams at a young age.

Special Achievments: Lots of stuff, but I still think when I started flying was when I felt the most achieved, and its still one of my favorite ways to spend a LD, when I can.

Frequency of lucid dreams: *when practicing* about 3 per week
Induction methods used: WILD and WBTB--I've become obsessive about RC's during my waking hours and it helps so much in the sleeping hours!
Dream control: I'd rate my dream control a 7 on a scale of 1-10.
Amount of time it took to reach my present level: I've been doing this since I was 4-5 years old and I'm 28 now.
Special achievements: I don't want to feel "silly" if my achievements aren't really "special", but here's a list of things I've done:

-Met what I *think* is my spirit/dream guide
-Had sex... a lot.
-flying
-testing out my environment
-attempted astral projection (only to find out that, for me, it wasn't real)
-analyzing my surroundings
-making things appear (only a very few times... this is something I'm working on)
-changing my environment

I hope this doesn't all sound silly to other experienced LD'ers!

Frequency of lucid dreams:
*when practicing* Once or twice a week.

Induction methods used:
Hand RC & MILD. I Tried WILD a few times but it only worked once when I wasn't even trying.

Dream control:
I have problems changing my surroundings (it's very unpredictable). Everything that affects only myself (flying, superpowers, ...) works fine.

Amount of time it took to reach my present level:
Practicing since 2005. I'm just starting again after a pause of about 6 months.

Special achievements:
I can wake myself up at will (the opposite of what most of us are trying to achieve here ).
I used the powers of 3 Marvel Heroes (Spiderman, Hulk, The Human Torch).
Dream-sex without waking up.
Passing through walls (and thereby randomly changing my location).

Frequency of lucid dreams: I am always aware that I am dreaming. Even when I just nap.

Induction methods used: I'm not yet familiar with the terms or what they do. I just go to sleep and soon I know I'm dreaming.

Dream Control: I can control my dreams when I chose to. It's only when I'm very tired that I don't remember dreaming or don't bother controlling my dreams. It does take a little more effort to control the dream and sometimes I just feel too tired or lazy. But lately, since discovering this forum, I'm doing more things.

Amount of time: I started LDing when I was maybe 4. As I got older I figured out that I could control my dreams.

Special Achievements: I love to be underwater and swim in the coral reefs. Flying is always nice, but after watching Hero's on TV, I jumped up into outer space. I came back when my feet got too cold!
I'm actually working on reading words. I can do it, but it's a little hard. I recently looked at clock, then back at the clock to see what would happen. The little hand stayed the same and the big hand wouldn't stop moving! I want to try with a digital clock! I also want to go into a mirror. Maybe tonight...

Frequency of Dreams: 1 lucid average a month with plenty of remembered non-lucids.

Induction Method: Sleep deprivation. Don't usually do this but it works the best.

Dream Control: I can get most stuff to happen by making a sudden movement or noise, like a hand clap. I still can't get gravity to work.

Amount of Time: A year. But I haven't done anything over the past few months.

Special Achievements: Changing the environment with a snap of the fingers. Achieved in most recent LD - before that, my fingers would break in the dream, or not ever touch together no matter the effort.

AWESOME!

Frequency of Dreams: three or four a year? I am not really trying to induce them anymore (, atm).

Induction Method: WILD (in my first LD), DILD, RCs never worked for me. But I realize my dream symbols.

Dream Control: Can fly and summon environments.

Amount of Time: does not fit me... I sort of postponed practising LD techiques for the time being. But I think I registered shortyl after my first LD, so...

Special Achievements: calming the f4ck down! I am always so hysterical when I realize I am dreaming. Perceiving detail. Remembering to spin. Realizing people are just DCs.

Very noobish kind of stuff, really.

Frequency of lucid dreams: A couple a night (unless I'm wasted then I just don't dream [or maybe I just don't remember?])

Induction methods used: Up until a few days ago it was all natural. Now I use a cross between WILD and Hypnosis because I like the feeling of sleep paralysis.

Dream Control: My only reoccuring problem is those darned light switches. Similarly if I ever find myself with a gun I find it much more effective to empty the clip into my hand and "throw" the bullets. Apart from that my control extends to the point of trying things again to see if they feel/look any better if done/made to look different.

Amount of time: Started when I was about 8 - this is my 10th year.

Special Achievements: My frequency and control of LDs. Also pretty pleased with my ability to learn skills in my sleep, I guess I owe a lot of my art to LDs.
Expect the unexpected - when it arrives ask it if you are dreaming.

Frequency of lucid dreams: Whenever I want one

Induction methods used: I'm a natural

Dream control: flying, character building, shooting up aliens with Duke Nukem, blowing stuff up with my mind.

Amount of time it took to reach my present level: I've been naturally lucid dreaming my whole life

Special achievements:
Awake at will, nightmares don't affect me, I saved the planet from alien invasion with Duke Nukem (it took about 5 dreams worth of fighting to defeat all of them), can fly at will, can teleport, can blow stuff up with my mind, can make whoever I want appear, can do pretty much anything I want to

Frequency of lucid dreams:80% of all the ones I try. Usually about 20 a week, if things go well.

Induction methods used: It's all natural at this point. I don't do any sort of methods anymore.

Dream Control: My only limitation is the strength of my imagination. I have trouble changing an entire scene, or creating something detailed out of nothing.

Amount of time: 11 years.

Special Achievements: I'll have to tell you about it.

Frequency of lucid dreams: Aprox. 1 every night

Induction methods used: Mainly WILD, but from I was very little I also got used to question if i dream or not - so it's not that unusual that i suddenly just conclude that i must be dreaming and enter LD

Dream control: In two months time i've gone from being able to fly slowly and maybe sometimes summon people, to fly at what ever speed i like, being able to explore space, summon people by the blink of my eyes etc. So i got a pretty good control now, but I still get to exited when fun/good things happen, so I tend to snap out of it way to fast.

Amount of time it took to reach my present level: I've always had some sort of "lucid control" but really got aware of the phenomena about 1 year ago.

Special achievements: Well If i would set myself a true goal it would be to master my exitement so i could explore more in lucidity, and getting better at the reality checks so I could have more then 1 LD every night. It's top rare that i get into the state without WILD.
