      Using lucid dreams to release aggression/violence.

      I had a bad today i was fantasizing about killing a specific someone. I am in no way homicidal, but I really felt like I could've done it if there were no consequences. Being life, that is impossible because there are always consequences. I had an unimaginable amount of rage built up. All of the hatred and bottling up the energy made me exhausted and i went home and fell asleep after. I intended to have a lucid dream where i tortured the same dude i was mad at. It ended up pretty well. I squeezed his head in a vice really slow. I felt much better upon awakening.

      I've always thought something like that would be a waste of time since you can spend your lucid dreams doing something much more positive and productive like exploring space or something....however, after having my dream i feel like it helped me release aggression in a healthy manner and it WAS productive. I feel like if it felt cathartic then why not??

      What are your thoughts?

      Oh, I fully plan to clean up the streets as lucid superhero "Super Fantastic Man" from smokers who bother other restaurant patrons and throw their butts on the ground, and bad inconsiderate drivers . A lightsaber blow separating their head from their bodies sounds about right as punishment. Oh yes this and more, right after I kiss a few pretty ladies and fly to the top of the golden gate bridge. So yes, it's one of the primary goals after the other slightly more primary ones .

      oh yes i would slice people up with swords that i pull outta my pocket.

      i reckon it would be very good for stress relief crushing his head with a vice though? really? hahaha

      Okay well....i guess that is sort of similar but kind of different. I feel like you find those type of people who peeve you anywhere, but it is another level when you have hatred towards a specific person for more personal reasons. I guess it doesn't matter in the eyes of the law; murder is murder.

      Yes. Some people don't deserve death because it puts them out of their misery. Providing them with constant uncontrollable pain is a much better alternative and the vice makes it hands on instead of say shooting them from a distance.

      That's very interesting idea. I am not sure about it.
      My experience with dreams is that they do affect my normal life. It's question if aggressive behavior in dreams will serve as ventilation or the opposite. Hmmm...
      If we speak about it it a more philosophical way I would advice rather get rid of the hatred than to realize it even in this dreamy way .

      Every now and then I am violent in my LDs. I agree it is probably getting my anger out, and it usually does feel good. But then when I am awake I realize my poor dream character probably didnt deserve it...he didnt have a chance against me so I took advantage. But my (real) anger is generalized and not directed toward a real individual so any DC in my way gets it...even DC policemen.

      Yes this makes me feel better the little times i do it when i wake up and it could help release aggression for others as well because its doing the same as practicing something that your worried about in real life for example a speech, this at least makes me feel better when i wake up.
