finally, someone I know who wants to lucid dream!
Didn't know where to put this... but oh well
This is pretty much a 180 from my "emberassed that I told my family" thread.
Anyway, my brother, Zack, didn't hear the conversation (as mentioned in the "emberassed that i told my family" thread) with my dad about LDing which didn't exactly go over very well. So I decided to kind of keep the fact that I lucid dream quiet. Or at least as quiet as possible. Until we were in the car and zack just asked me what lucid dreaming was (without me even bringing it up)
I told him to look it up on this site and now he's a member! 
i'm happy now

Yeah, thats cool dude. I remebered the first time I learned about lucid dreaming my cousin introduced me to it and now we both are members here. Its nice to have someone you could talk to about your dreams and experiences without them looking at you like your crazy...haha

That is great. I am an older sibling too, they may act like they don't hear you sometimes, but they really do!
Your bro is lucky to have caught onto lucid dreaming, it is a lot of fun.
And experience it as a place to visit and play with reality.
You are becoming aware of yourself as a game master.

Grats I guess! Really sad to hear that you have so much trouble talking to anyone about it
I guess I'm just very lucky that I've been able to tell alot of people about it without them being totally against the idea.
But anyways, gratz to you for finding someone who accepts the idea, and gratz to your brother for learning about Lucid Dreaming!

Yeah good job! and hopefully Zack will be getting Lucid soon too.
I also have trouble with sharing Lucid Dreaming sometimes. I usually keep it to myself as well. But once in a while I will bring it up to someone.
It's to bad more people don't understand how much fun dreaming can be.
