Yeah, reading before bed helps very much. It gets dreams on your mind and reading your past dreams can get you thinking of dream signs like you already said. It is very interesting to come back and look at all of your dreams that you remember in a journal and just think about those dreams. Good luck! |

I don't know of any exercises besides reading them before bed, but like kingofclutch said it can be fun to read through them later. I am surprised how well I remember most of them even after several months. |

i use a tape recorder atm. i have had it long enough to be able to use it in the dark. |

Technically... I know no use for a DJ (natural good recall), apart from using it when I want to remember a cool dream that isn't that clear. Use word and DV/MM DJ section, 3 different places make it safer if anything is lost. |

Currently I use mp3 player with built in voice recorder. And at the time I am not sure what to use for writing my dreams - I used Calc (Excel's free counterpart, part of Open Office) but it is not really good. I've tried a couple of other programs but still searching for something which will suit me more. |

I put a few goals at the back and that gives me motive to have a lucid. |
