I was at school today and we were having a project in the lab. we had to write something in french so to translate a word I wnt on that site I love for translating called WordReference.com and that guy beside me asked me what the website was called and I was about to answer "Dreamviews.com" but I stopped after dream and continued the other website's name so it sounded like DreamReference.com and then he said "What? It's not dreamreference! It's wordreference" and then I just started laughing even if I was kind of stressed out since this is kind of my secret and I don't want anyone to know, yet at least. But that was funny. i've been comming here all the time since I've started so now it seems like its the first thing in my mind... I've written this 'cause it was funny... By the way, you should do a Reality Check

yeah. like if people ask me about dreams ill tell them what i know but i wont go telling people how i try to lucid dream and stuff if they're not into it. but if they ask me what it is ill gladly tell them because i dont think thats its a hobby to be ashamed about.

I would defenitly make a presentation about it. I just mean, I don't go talk about it to anyone but if someone asks I'll tell them. I'm not shy, I just no they don't want me to talk to them about it. Lol! It's very funny and I can definitely relate! It's kind of my secret life too. I do talk to people about LD and they listen and politely nod their heads. Some show quite a bit of interest. I can tell people are not sure what to make of it because even though it sounds like mumbo jumbo crap like astrology or palm reading they know my IQ and what I've achieved in my life which gives me a fair whack of credibility. In other words they know I'm not a religious, spiritual waffler type. Love paragon's post too lol!

I'm so annoyed and frustrated because i can never find anyone with the same level as interest in dreaming as i have. I feel like im imposing on people who aren't into it if i try and talk to them about it. But at least i know what they are missing =]

Most people just say 'i dont remember my dreams'...............im thinking so what? that can change. but they arent interested enough to begin with. Or i try to have a decent discussion with someone and they just change the subject really quickly and im left thinking, 'hello, we barely got started on dreams!' One person i know showed some interest, another guy was just an a-hole about it; but that was just his natural charming self with anything

Two people actually talk to me a lot about dreams (because of me) and then everyone else will say "i don't have dreams" but then I say that its impossible and that its just that they don't remember them and then they say "same thing" and just change the subject... So yeah, to bad for them... -_-'

i talk to my friends about lucid dreaming, but they dont really care, i talked about it a lot when i first found out about it, and it just annoyed them. but none of my friends are interested in it. but they all say to me now all the time "off to have a controled dream now, what you gunna do now" as a joke. its anoying, but its just a bit of banter.
