So what does that have to do with Lucid Dreaming?
I thought about this for awhile today, and I think that LDing could have small (possibly very small) negative and positive effects on you.
What I mean is, the actions you do in a Lucid Dream could mess with your mind in telling you how you are feeling. Get what I mean?
Like, killing lots of people in a dream might give you a false sense of stress and so on and so forth...
Anyone else ever think of this?
i thought similar things when I started LDing a few years back. My thoughts where more along the lines of, if i'm having dreams normally and if they've got some sort of a purpose to my health or wellbeing, then surely LDing is going against that sort of natural purpose.
Though (whilst it could just be my poor LD ability), I found that I wasn't LDing all the time, it was only occassionally. So I figured I'd definitely still be getting the effects of all the natural dreams I was still having whilst also getting any positive effects LDing might bring. At the very worst, I figured it would be like losing whatever hour of so of sleep the whole LDing process affected.
