So if I'm right, dreams are the minds way of telling you how you feel. Like death in a dream can symbolize stress, and I think falling dreams symbolize insecurity... |

Today actually. I'm a Christian and read some random verses in the Bible and guess what came up? Dreams. It was about two people who went to jail and they had dream, one dream symbolized he was going to die and he did, one symbolized he was going to be a king's servant and he did. God gave them those dreams. But then I just thought, if God needed to speak to me he would make sure I wasn't lucid. I mean I have been LDing since I was 5 way before I knew about it, it's natural. |

if you can read this then you are about to be punched
I agree that dreams contain information about our emotions, our hopes and frears, etc. I also believe that very occasionally our dreams may tell us about our future path in life. |

that's another thing I was more concerned about than my health actually and was one of the reasons I stopped LDing for a while. I started to wonder whether it was unnatural and against what God wanted. If there was more to the world we're in when we dream, then I hadn't really controlled my actions too well when I LDed in terms of morals. |

lol I completly agree with Shift. That and thinking it will mess with you, as dreams works over expectatives, so I suppose if you think of LD as a dream withouth a meaning, it will not affect you. |

i thought similar things when I started LDing a few years back. My thoughts where more along the lines of, if i'm having dreams normally and if they've got some sort of a purpose to my health or wellbeing, then surely LDing is going against that sort of natural purpose. |

i thought something else, im pretty sure that the LD itself's safe mentaly BUT- in chinese medicine and where ever you have a talk of chi and energy (i dont have a real faith in most of it, but yeah i guess there could be something there). a friend told me (he's pretty crazy but still..) that when u LD u waste alot of energy, specially when u use dream powers like summoning giant creatures or altering the scene around u.. |
