My 10th grade history teacher back in high-school taught the whole class how to lucid dreams, and in the beginning of each class we would discuss our progress. I found dream views a few weeks later and never looked back

I caught a member (poog) posting here in school. Curious, I memorized the URL and looked at the home site on my home computer.

Good Job, Poog! Spreading the DV love.

I had frequent sleep paralysis as a kid. I eventually figured out, on my own, that it could lead to crazy dream-like scenarios, and out of body type experiences. This was before the internet, so it was difficult to find good information about sleep paralysis, OBE, or Lucid dreaming. I finally figured out that other people were doing this, and got heavily involved with different dreaming, shamantic, and Tibetan groups around town during college. I gave it up for a while to focus on life, but found my way here eventually.

My friend told me about it around 3 years ago, but I just started trying it like 4 months ago.

Never thought a teacher would teach LD in a class in high school. I wonder if there were any objections on the part of the parents

I learned about it last fall. One of my teachers brought it up in discussion after we read this book called Flowers For Algernon. Said book had a lot to do with psychology, and I was interested and started to research it at home. Lurked around the forum for two/three weeks and joined the forum.

What the Peter Luck was s/he doing teaching you that, when they're getting paid to teach history? That's like paying for my car to be serviced, then finding it's still broken but they've installed a novelty horn.

Well, he was the best teacher in the whole school, and in the begining of each class we would all talk about our lives before the class. He had a way of impacting every student. But then one day he told us what he has been doing, and soon the whole class was interested and started to do it to, it just turned into an LDing mini session before History. It was so fascinating to hear guys on the football team, or these random party girls just talk about what RCs theyve been doing and what they did in Lucid Dreams. Aww, I miss it now... It was amazing

I wish I had a class like that! That would be pretty cool; an elective about lucid dreaming. I'm not sure how many people would sign up though.
