Who is your Dream Guide?

Is he/she/it an Animal, someone you know? or dont. a friend? family member or something completely out of the ordinary? my D.G is a person ive never met before Her name is Jen. She kinda looks like tifa out of FF VII (shes not asian though) she goes everywhere with me in a L.D and ive seen her in my non lucid dreams too when i do something bad in a dream like manipuliting reality or kill a dc ( mostly by accident,sometimes intentional) she ends up kicking my ass so share your D.G, what he/she/it looks like, and what he/she/it does in your dreams.

i know there is another one of these threads somewhere but i can't find it.(didn't look that hard) haha sorry 'bout your guide kicking your butt.lol anywho...my dream guide's name is cornelius and he has always appeared (except for twice) as a tallish man,pry around 5'10" or 11".he dresses completely in black with quiet, soft stealth boots and socks with black dress pants and shirt under a long trench coat.he has had varying lengths of black hair and he has stern but kind black eyes.his presence is powerful and commanding but benevolent.he is in most of my LDs but sometimes shows in normal dreams.two of which he appeared as,in one, a black stallion, and the other, a silver and black dragon that watched from far up in the clouds. the first time i made conscious contact with him i opened a door hoping he would be behind it and there he was waiting for me.we had a long talk about my dreams and personal issues but now he usually just watches over me in my dreams and sometimes helps out.i ask him questions from time to time still but not very much now. p.s. welcome to dreamviews!

I haven't found my DG yet =/ Though I've already got a picture of what I want them to look like. I'd rather mold my own dream guide then be given one =D Wow, that's a really long lucid o.o How do you know how long it was?

well my alrm wakes my up after 3 gours oof sleep(usually in the middle of a dream) it woke me up. ilooked at the time real quick and went into my lucid.then when i woke up after the lucid i lookedat the time it was around 1 hr 23 mins. i think its because i havent had long lucids before that usually 5-20 secs. and that just built up and i could have a long one(i think haha)

I've asked so many dream character's it's not even funny...they've all told me to check the bathroom, which I have, and I still can't call out my DG. The only who didn't say to check the bathroom told me he couldn't find my DG, couldn't tell me where it was at, or didn't know how to call it out. Wtf brain? Give me my dream guide!

My dream guide calls herself Evelyn, shes not a person ive ever seen IRL. Shes dressed in a white dress, brown-redish slightly curly hair, dark eyes, 1.70m tall. Shes friendly, usualy giving her opinion on things i do, always respects my choice, shes understanding and is far from violent. I realy like her as a person

I haven't been lucid in so long, it's not even funny. But, I suppose on the off-chance that I finally do achieve a LD in the near future, that'll be my next quest...the quest for the DG. Hope he's awesome. She kinda looks like tifa out of FF VII My sympathies. Did you at any point get your eyes poked out?

So what do Dream Guides actually do? What makes them different? is it an actual occurance in lucid dreaming or just hogwash like OBEs and stuff? /honest question

What makes them different? Nothing. I believe there is no difference between a "dream guide" and a regular DC.

I haven't been interested in pursuing lucid dreaming until recently, so I haven't found my DG yet, but I almost know how I want him to look and act. :3

Ahahahaha I haven't found mine yet, but stalking this forum, reading different experiences with dream guides, kinda gives me a thought - I guess my DG will be a mixture of everyone else's dream guide XD I have the tendency to mix things up in my head ;D This could bring out a creepy DG!!

I'm still not sure where I stand on the whole Dream Guide thing. I believe it is a strong part of your subconscious but some people try to make it out to be some kind of real spirit. Either way, I still want to find mine. Haven't yet... I need to get back into lucid dreaming first
