Why would you blink in a dream? Blinking serves physiological purposes for the eye itself. There are actually adaptations to the visual system to prevent your body from really caring that suddenly everything has blacked out for second during the blink. During the dream, you don't have any eyes to speak of, and vision is internally generated. I can't think of any reason for your dreams to emulate blinking and disrupting the visual perceptions.

      This is true.

you can blink only if you want yourself to but theres no point, it may make your dreams clearer though. you can also close your eyes in dreams.

In real life you don't notice when you blink anyway, so it doesn't really make a difference whether or not you blink. You CAN blink, but there's no real point.

yea, I also read some article that when every time we blink our brain stops functionating (in some way) for like millisecond ( like duration of blink) .
