      DEILDS: how do you transition

      I've noticed - for myself at least - I have three common ways of re-entering dreams during DEILDS.


      1) I see what appears to be a small rectangular movie screen in the distance. The screen gets closer and I can hear sounds. Eventually the screen envelopes my vision and I'm in the dream.

      2) I'm sitting with my eyes closed, when I can suddenly hear sounds or people speaking which aren't what I'd expect at home in bed. I open my eyes and find I'm in a dream.

      3) The blackness is like a blanket which I keep pulling and pulling on. Eventually I pull the blanket off and I'm in a dream.

      Has anyone else every experienced this kind of transition?
      Whats your most common DEILDing experiences?

      Oh cool you do it by using all senses, I only have to imagine the last dream and will eventually end in it... the blanket one sounds so cool.

      No, my DEILDs are just well-timed VILDs or I just suddenly find myself somewhere else.

      haha my last DEILD i entered almost instantly and was greeted by a block of text in front of me saying something like "dream commences now."

      yeah the blanket thing is cool.

      DEILD: I wake from the dream, and review what happens, preparing to write it down. When I get to the end, I imagine what would happen next if the dream continued. And half the time, it does.

      That. That's what happened on my one (and so far only) DEILD. Until now I wasn't even sure it was a DEILD, but now I can remove the question mark from my little LD stat chart.

      I start to see crystalline facets(like how insects see) and they spin. then everything goes black and things just fade in within 3-7 seconds.
