Wait, you are wanting to wake up from one? All you have to do is want to wake up! Just try feeling your actually body and moving it to wake up. If you are lucid though, I suggest exploring some, instead of waking yourself up. |

Before I actually knew what was happening, I would constantly dream I was in the place I fell asleep at, and would try to wake myself up. I would move my hands in the dream and touch my face or my arm, but I knew I wasn't actually doing it. So I had to really focus to wake myself up... and I always knew it was just a dream. |

Before I knew what was actually happening, I would be exactly where I fell asleep and I would think I was awake. When I realized I was asleep, I started freaking out and tried to wake myself up because I thought something bad was happening. But yeah, that's what I did in the end. I just realized that when my hand was moving in my dream it wasn't really moving, and I willed myself to move it. |

Well noone here really wants to wake up from them most of the time. Actually it's more common to look for techniques to keep yourself asleep becuase of the amazing things you can experience while you're dreaming. Seeing it as a bad thing will only make it a bad thing. |

good times
The last time I LD'd was the only time I really allowed myself to explore, and it was pretty amazing. And yeah, I remember opening my dream eyes and getting a glimpse of my room. I'm still kind of getting used to the idea of being able to control my dreams. It just seems so crazy. Like a self-induced hallucination. |

I would never want to wake myself up from a lucid, unless it turned into a lucid nightmare. Even then, I would just try to turn it around. |

What you have experienced is called a false awakening. They used to scare me too. Do a Reality Check every time you wake up, and you will know if you are dreaming or actually awake. Especially because I would experience sleep paralysis in my lucid dream after a false awakening. It is a lot like a hallucination. But, what is great about lucid dreaming is that there are no negative side effects, and your actions in a dream have no consequences. haha. |
