Thread: Have you ever met God in an LD?

I was thinking about bringing Jesus into my dream to interrogate him, since I'm an agnostic, but no, I've never seen god in a dream. Sounds like a semi-lucid.
Very cool though!

I once met a bright light that covered my entire field of vision and said lot wise and kind things to me in a sea of voices, althugh that's the same lucid where there was a sea of floating pink jellyfish next to the queen of england

God? Yes, two times, one I was beaten out of heaven for killing angels, the second I treatened the thing with death, it backed and I was disappointed <.<

Didn't think it was real in any of the cases.

Nope nope nope nope. Sorry, no can do. I cannot believe in a God who would intentionally set us up for failure and then damn us to hell when we stumble into one of the pitfalls he himself placed right in the middle of our path.

Well said. Although im not agnostic myself, i totally agree with that. Im a Deist.

Me too, StrangeDreamsGuy. I actually had that dream the night after getting into a debate with a devoutly Anglican friend over how much of the bible we can assume is literal. (Her: most of it -- me: none of it.)

... And then I have this dream where God shows up and basically says, "Don't believe in me, huh? How's about I show you what life after death is like, then?"

Even though I *know* it was just a dream, it still weirds me out a bit whenever I think about it. The tricks our brains like to play on us...

I never met God or Jesus in an LD, but throughout my life I have had many dreams where I have talked to God, or have seen Jesus.. If you would to know some of my experiences, feel free to PM me, they are quite interesting to say the least!

I had a similar conversation with a random DC when I asked her about her thoughts and emotions. She said, "I think what you think, and feel what you feel, because I am you."

I had a vision about seeing God welcoming people into heaven. I was in church, and I could see everyone's souls. They looked like orange flames. I was sucked out of my body, and into the sky, then beyond the atmosphere, then I was in Heaven. God's eyes were like two oceans. His face was like the sun, and his hair was like fire. There were angels around wearing robes made of pure light. There was a line of people waiting to meet God. Every person looked younger and younger the closer they got to God, until they all looked like toddlers. He would pick people up, hug them, kiss them on the forehead, treating every one differently.
Then, I was flying over then sea very low, about a foot above the surface.
Then, I was riding a goat-like creature down the side of a snowy mountain like a sled.
Then, I was in a warm jungle, and I found a lion reclining in a clearing. I laid down, and buried my head in its mane and went to sleep.


I didn't actually meet God as in the sense of having a conversation, but I looked into his eyes, and each one had all the beauty and depth of being of an entire ocean, which was the most intense part of the dream. It was like I was looking all the way to the bottom of the sea, and it was crystal clear.
